Not all impressed. Tenders were hard and chewy. Sooo oily even the fried okra oily to a point to throw up. Luckily I was sitting across the kitchen and saw the tenders and other chicken pcs were allready fried and kept in the fryer bucked they put the strips and refried them hence the results . If im paying $4 for a strip make it fresh guys. My food was sitting on the counter and no one was there is had to call this guy to get his attention.

Excellent chicken freshly fried!! It was the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. The coleslaw is yummy!! The service was diligent. Establishment is clean and comfy.

I started eating Gus's around 2018. They have definitely gone down considerably at each of there locations. This location my husband and I were really tuned up for the chicken as this location use to be really good. They have fallen just like the Roswell location. The sides smelled sour so I could not eat those. The chicken was still bleeding. They offered a discount for the food and this was fine as I did not start to see the blood until the end. Service is blah.. 😑 I know people don't want to work these days so I salute those that were. But cooking southern dishes is not Gus's specialty anymore. The Mac n cheese is a joke and who could possibly mess up potato salad?? I guess we will scratch this restaurant all together as ALL of their locations have gone down tremendously since the pandemic.

Y’all used to be fire. The best. Now yall got that fake ass crust and recipe. Charging $13-15 for 2 pieces and 2 trash sides is wild. I would rather be oiled up at a diddy party. DO BETTER. Hattie B’s above y’all. Daves just opened and already above yall. Hell I can have a bbq and be above yall. And I wouldn’t charge $15 for some dry ass chicken and mid sides man.

I worked near this location 2 years ago and would frequently eat there for lunch, on the way home, or even drive over on weekends... and the food was great!
Fast forward to my last 4 visits over a 1 year span the food has been HORRIBLE!
The chicken is overcooked, hard, and dry. I used to looove the chicken and would say it's THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD!
It's so sad how the quality has gone down.
The sides have not been flavorful and it's been one disappointment after the other.
I chose to spread my visits out due to the lack of satisfaction hoping that when I returned the food would get better but sadly I don't plan on going back.

Love the food great service. But almost 6 dollars for one piece of chicken is crazy . I get the same order for years . I went from paying 13 dollars to over 20 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken no sides…wild.

My #1 rule is not to eat at a restaurant at closing time. The Chamblee location gave me food poisoning. It's the most expensive chicken meal, I have ever had. $20 for two pieces of chicken. And sitting on the toilet all night. As a first time customer. Bad experience. I would not recommend eating at Gus.
