So since we arrived to Dragoncon on Wednesday we have passed by Gus's famous chicken several times, I decided to treat the family. The wait time was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all.
We were seated and our drink order was taken which is nice. The food was great. Just the right amount of heat for us. I ordered the 2 piece dark meat platter that comes with Cole slaw, baked beans and white bread. I also ordered a side of mac n cheese. Side of fries and side...

First time trying food here... customer service GREAT!! The food definitely not worth the $30 I spent. Chicken just average iv had better, Beans and coleslaw lack flavor. Mac cheese not creamy enough, Greens was the only perfect item.

We had visited gus' in memephis and it was fantastic, this Chamblee location was a let down. Food was ok but not fantastic as we were expecting and service was just ok. Not likely to go back, there are 2 other locations in the Atlanta area, will try those and hope for better food, closer to how it's served in the Memphis locations.

Oh and it's much pricier. 4 people in Memphis was $68ish, 3 people in Chamblee was $80 for similar meals.
