A true gem. Himalayas has been serving quality Indian and Bangladeshi food for over 30 years. They are consistent and friendly. I usually take my family to dinner there every couple of weeks.Vegetarian options: Great veggie options!Dietary restrictions: Very good for gluten sensitive persons. Most dishes are naturally gluten free.

Outstanding!!!I'm no Indian food guru, but I was impressed! Great food and service. The cheesy naan is heavenly. My chicken was soooooo tender! The rice was light and fluffy. I definitely want to come back to expand my experience.

We came here for lunch on a Thursday right before they closed down for the afternoon. The staff was very friendly and our water was very attentive. We ordered the chicken 65 and two beef samosas for an appetizer. The chicken 65 was a bit dry and the external shell was crunchy. I was disappointed in the chicken 65 and it wasn't hot at all even though it had the coloring of a normal chicken 65. The samosas were also a bit dry on the inside but the sauces they brought out helped with that. I probably wouldn't get an appetizer next time I go. The stars here were the garlic naan bread and the lamb vindaloo which were cooked to absolute perfection and so delicious. The lamb was tender, very well seasoned and spicy. The rice that came with the dish was great and went well with the lamb vindaloo. I would definitely return for it.

We've been coming here for several years. The owners are incredibly nice and their makhani is phenomenal. Indian food is my favorite and this one has some of the best you can get. Also since moving the ambiance and design of the restaurant are great. Especially the outdoor area on a nice day.

Amazing food, good staff and great people most importantly. A most come back. The Red curry with shrimp is amazing. The garlic breadis exactly what you need to start along with the Chicken 65. This restaurant is a mainstay in Chamblee. This will be a centerpiece of the new and improved modern Brookhaven. I can't wait.

HORRIBLE!!! Food was alright but we were charged for 8 entrees when we only ordered 6. Do not come here. We called several times, but owner kept saying its busy and to call back later and did not want to address the overcharging. We were charged 156, when our total was suppose to be around 100 dollars. We will not be coming here anymore. Please check your receipts before paying these cheaters. Staff was unfriendly and acted like they did not want to be working.

Went with a group of friends and this was a very nice restaurant! I got the malai kofta which was maybe the best I’ve ever had! My friends got the chicken korma, chicken tikki masala, and chicken madras and everyone loved their food too! It was very nice to be able to customize the level of spice per dish, since I unfortunately cannot handle spice very well. We all shared the naan and it was INCREDIBLE- the most moist, buttery, and soft naan I’ve ever had! The service was great, they came and filled our waters every time we were even half done with the drink (which was nice for the spicier food). And the waiters were so nice and happy! I would go everyday to eat there if I could!Vegetarian options: Incredible selection with amazing taste! One of the best vegetarian experiences I’ve had at a restaurant!

Ordered Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Platter: No Tasty or Flavor.Clearly chefs doesn’t know about ?? Spices at all.The food seems to be a quick hack. Making chicken separately and adding rice to make it Biryani.Pathetic food preparation.I Would advise to stay away.
