Was driving through Chamblee after playground hopping with my 2 boys on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Was looking for wings and the reviews for Moondogs were great. Our experience did not start off well at all. We sat and a few minutes later another couple sat. The places wasn't too busy and I know the servers saw us sit down. The other couple that sat after us was greeted and served 1st. Another 5 mins passed before we were acknowledge by a server. This really rubbed me the wrong way. Our server finally came by and greeted us. We had been waited long enough so I went ahead and gave our entire order. I split an order of wings with my 10 yo and my 7 yo had a bowl of Mac 'n Cheese. The MnC is literally just the box variety you buy at the grocery store. The wings...thr wings were OUTSTANDING! Definitely some of the best I've had in a while. I hate that my 1st impression is of us sitting for almost 10 mins before any service. Due to that and the fact that it's a Packers joint, I wont be back anytime soon.

Brooke’s service was exceptional, but the service is not the only standout aspect of this restaurant/bar hybrid concept.
I came for brunch and started with a lavender lemonade mimosa. It was a nice balance so neither the lemonade nor the lavender were overwhelming.
For an appetizer, my party ordered the fried pickles. I liked that they were not greasy. They almost had an air-fry quality to them which made them better.
The beer selection was varied, and they had a great liquor wall. I tried a mead from their draft list and it was refreshing.
The entrees ordered were the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit Sliders and the Steak and Sunny Hash. Apparently if they have left over prime rib from Saturday, they use it for the Steak and Sunny Hash on Sundays. We got lucky and had the prime rib. It was quite good and we might come back just for it on a Saturday.
The Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit Sliders included a hot honey sauce made in house. I don’t like spicy, but I loved this. It had heat without being overpowering. The biscuits were made perfectly. My only complaint would be the chicken was a little dry, but the sauce fixed that.
We finished with a Toasted Flower, which combined elderflower and Ardbeg 10. It’s inventive and refreshing. I’ll come back and order it again, but be warned it is $18.
All in all, I highly recommend this location for brunch. I look forward to trying it for dinner. Hopefully you’ll get lucky and have Brooke as your server.

If you like beer like I do you will love this place. They have a broad beer selection and great food to go with your beer. This is a great addition to Chamblee. On the weekends they are know to have some live music too.
Enjoyed my meal and the service. Getting better but needs a little tweaking. Well on its way to becoming the GREEN BAY PACKER place to be. Try it ,you'll like it. !!
