Oaxaca Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine and warm, attentive service. The flavors are rich and fresh, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!
Such a pretty restaurant! Food was great, it is a more upscale Mexican restaurant and you want to make reservations if going during peak time. The drinks were great and the pork belly tacos were out of this world! They are also accommodation for those with gluten allergies. Can't wait to go back.
Loved the atmosphere and dined on the patio. Burrito De Langostinos was good but full of rice really, a few shrimp are buried inside.
Litcy is so sweet and will help you decide by her accuracy of descriptions after inquiring your tastes and dietary restrictions! The herb guac 🥑 is not to be missed if you like tarragon and if you like your tacos 🌮 “skinny” just order as they come and the meat and toppings of 2 can be eaten out of the soft corn shell and is enough with the guacamole to fill you up sans carbs!
The food arrived so fast and the greenery and sunlight on the patio was perfect early evening ambiance!
The food was nothing special. Expensive for the portion size. The service was wimpy. Took forever to take appetizer plates. Bowl was cracked. Water bottles were dirty. Center lamp had salsa on it. Ambiance was nice, but music way too loud. Hope they make it.
Menu items were familiar but also creative, and ingredients were fresh. Service was friendly and accommodating. Overall very pleased and will go back.
Good Mexican restaurant in the area
One of my favorite more attentive bartender ever!!
Very nice, loved the ambiance.
The food is delicious and the decor is great. The service is mediocre, even when there are not a lot of people on a weekday, and the food takes a long time to come out. Servers not coming to check on the table for 15+ minutes (including to take orders), not seeing that people are done eating and coming to remove plates, etc. We come regularly because it’s easy with kids and the pollo a la lena is superb and a good deal, but the service can be frustrating and needs some attention.
Restaurantji Recommends
Came here to try the squash blossom quesadilla. I added steak which helped but it was just ok. I enjoyed the french toast. However, if a came back then I would order something else. They have a huge patio so I might try this place again in the summer.
I really like the authentic food at Oaxaca, but the pricing is sooo expensive in my opinion. The happy hour drinks are reasonable and their house marg is yummy. The lime salt they use is delish! I’ve also gotten the happy house quesadilla and it was good, but the cheese wasn’t super melted. I’ve also been for brunch and like the enchiladas but I think they were almost $20 for three normal sized ones and no side was included. I wish they came with rice. They were served in a bowl which made them difficult to eat. I wouldn’t not recommend because the flavors are great but the prices are what keep me from coming in.
Fabulous authentic Oaxacan restaurant with excellent service and incredible atmosphere. Great restaurant, highly recommend. I went for a Valentine's dinner and while most places would be a nightmare the service was executed flawlessly. Reservations are highly recommended.
Decent place with good food and cocktails. Fancy place for a special meal or just a splurge
I thought the food was really good, and the wait staff was wonderful. We went for Valentine’s day and had a really nice experience.
I had the short rib, and it was delicious and unique. They’re doing stuff right here, always good when you can see the kitchen from the restaurant and it looks like a well oiled machine.
