Happy this place is open again, but we had a disappointing experience.

$2 seat fee. Extra charge for credit cards.

We came in at the end of cart service yesterday, so we only tried two items. The food we got was good.

The new decor is okay. They've given in to the trend of the big screens, replacing the nice Double Happiness they had up on the dais. The new tablecloths are vinyl, stacked several high. After the customers leave, the remove the top dirty one, leaving a clean one for the next customers. The new ceramic teapots are pretty. The bathrooms are still very dark, but they were clean.

Service was poor. After we were seated, nobody came to take a drink order or a menu order. We got food from the last two dim sum carts, but otherwise we were ignored. We hunted them down and asked for tea. Rather than hunt them down again so we could order more food, we decided to cut our losses for the day and try again in a few months. While they were closed for a year we found other cart-service dim sum restaurants on the other side of that little airport and up in Duluth that we like a lot.

It’s my favorite in Atlanta. Especially their signature dish, Lobster sticky rice is highly recommended.

Original: Still closed as of 21Nov2025. Doors and some windows are papered over. Other windows are mirrored, so you can't see inside. On the door is a handwritten note in Chinese and English stating that they will close for remodeling on Feb 17 (2025), and the job will take 3-6 months. Also on the door is an official Code Violation notice from City of Chamblee Planning & Development and a Stop Work Order from City of Chamblee Development Department. Each of these notices is blank, with neither a date filled in or any information provided. The electricity is still on inside the restaurant, and their water feature is still on and making noise (I don't recall if that's a waterfall or a fish tank; it's been a long time since I've been inside). I tried to include photos of the notices, but Google isn't letting me upload images right now.

This is special place for us. We hadn't found a great dimsum place in Atlanta until this one. Don't expect Din Tai Fung/Tim Ho Wan/Dough Zone here, it's much more of a no frills experience. But there's something about that roaming cart, super fast service, and solid dimsum that just delivers. Also super nice folks work here, service is great.

Dim sum is solidly mediocre. They are also out of a lot of staples very frequently. I recommend this place as a last resort for dim sum.

This restaurant is closed for remodeling from 17feb25. Sign in door says there is not a set reopen date. I went elsewhere.

I was with a large group, and we all shared pre-arranged Dim Sum. The menu was extensive, and most of the things I ate were quite tasty, though there were a couple of items I didn't care for or wouldn't try, like chicken feet... The service was wonderful - wait staff were very attentive. I plan to go back on my own some day, because I did enjoy it. Parking was easy, and there was plenty of room inside & out at noon on a weekday.

They have the steam shrimp dumplings that are amazing! Great traditional Chinese restaurant!

The service is great. The dimsum is good. The only thing we did not find tasty was the scallop dumpling. The price is decent. We had 6 dishes and it was about $40.

Consistently delicious, flavorful dim sum. Super efficient service and friendly people. We've enjoyed food here for the last 4 years and keep coming back. Highly recommend.
