Ten minutes after I paid for my order by credit card, my smoothie had not even been started. Another patron (who ordered before me and was also waiting) and I both inquired about the delay. The sole employee on duty was on the phone, speaking to someone she claimed was the manager, and informed us that she was having issues with the cash drawer.
However, neither I nor the other customer had paid in cash—we both paid by card. We asked for a refund due to the excessive wait and lack of progress on our orders, as no smoothies had even been started due to the sole employee being on the phone the entire time. The employee stated she was unable to issue a refund and instead gave us the manager’s business card.
When we insisted that she either fulfill our orders or refund our card payments, the employee began making the smoothies, but did so while expressing frustration and displaying a rude and dismissive attitude.

Haven’t been to a SK in years - I’ve been missing out! The space was very bright and clean and I was impressed with the many health conscious options on the menu. The staff were friendly, helpful with choosing what to order and add, and had a fun working rapport that made waiting for our smoothies entertaining! We’ll definitely be back. Yum!

Food - When staff is new, the lead or manager should work with them for a month. This is to ensure the new staff are mixing drinks properly. We just had an incident where both ladies advised they were new, which is the reason shake wasn't mixed well.
Service - This location need at minimum 2-3 people working during lunch time. There has been multiple times where I've ordered and waited 15 minutes before driving to the store. Only to still wait. There are times where it's slow and the shake is made timely.
Atmosphere - Place is clean. I would suggest really focusing on Customer Service. Even if the team is behind, apologizing to the customer and/or acknowledging the long wait time will make a difference.
Overall, I appreciate the staff. Truly believe if minor tweaks are made, this will be the BEST Smoothie King.

You are grossly understaffed for the morning....or....your early morning attendant is not getting in early enough to prepare. Customers are on the way to work....and she is still stocking products or in the back. One time we waited atleast 5 min before finally calling out to get her upfront...just to take the order. Too much for one person early morning when people are in a rush
