Bizarre waitress Reena/reeka? - How you treat people will come back to you. You are not the only person who works hard in life. I know we have bad days, but to lie about closing after you brought our drinks to us, and to be condescending on the food choices we made was just plain odd.
This waitress (Reena/Reeka was what we were told her name was) lied about closing time after she seats us Friday at 8:30pm but she told us AFTER we go our drinks “to hurry as they were closing”, (they actually closed at 10pm Friday, but we didn’t know & assumed we were late), and she also pushed a plate of food at me to finish so she could grab it, and criticized one of our sushi rolls for being a boring choice. We didn’t have time to make a decision and you stared at us while we looked at the menu. Maybe you thought we were just on our phones? But we were looking at the menu you had online because it was dark in there. Maybe you thought, but you thought wrong.
However when ordering, she glared at us, told us to hurry and I asked for the yellowtail Serrano plate, and she stopped to ask me if I wanted something called a yellow tail “delight”, so and I said yellowtail Serrano plate, which was different and we continued to order from the menu. I saw a sushi roll that looked good, called the yellowtail “delight” and quickly pointed at it to my bf. I had NO idea it happen to be the roll she mentioned earlier when I ordered yellowtail Serrano plate!!!! And who cares?!! But she rudely tells me and reminds “you said no to yellowtail delight earlier and now you order it anyway too???”. I told her I was sorry I was ordering yellow Serrano plate and at the time didn’t even know what sushi roll yellowtail “delight” was, because I LITERALLY DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO THINK when she first said it because I didn’t even get to read the menu!
Even after that, she made multiple rude remarks about my bf ordering a California roll and stated “that they have much better rolls”. We love sushi and all kind of food. He literally eats everything and just happen to add a California roll because we didn’t have time to read the menu. WE ORDERED 1 cali roll, 1 yellowtail delight, and some eel roll, 1 yellowtail serrano plate, and 1 salmon sashimi plate. We are fine with complex rolls and the basic rolls and whys she even worried.
With ALL that said, the worst was when we were in the middle of eating and her shoving my plate around to me with one last yellowtail Serrano slices and saying “YOU HAVE ONE MORE”. It was so ODD. She then disappeared and another lady brought us the check and we never saw her again.
We left the restaurant confused at 9:10PM (they close at 10) thinking they were closing at 9 due to her lie, while other customers continued to eat and come in the restaurant!! We actually we had 1.5 hours when we arrived at 8:30.
Go to Nakato restaurant instead for great service, authentic Japanese sushi and beautiful atmosphere.

It is very unfortunate that I have to give this place only two stars, because the food was phenomenal. The big problem was the service: We ordered two yellowtail dishes - the yellowtail yuzu jalapeño, and the yellowtail belly sashimi. We got the first one quickly and had finished it once the second had arrived. We were about to start eating, when the waitress comes over and snatches the plate from the table, aggressively accusing us of already eating the yellowtail and saying that we didn't order this second portion. When we asked her what was wrong, she got defensive and accusatory, not giving us a straight answer. We tried to continue to talk to her to clarify the issue, but she angrily cut us off and stormed off to another table, while we were left confused. The host should never act so rudely to the customers, especially when we did nothing wrong.
We ended up getting our dish back, but the waitress was very aggressive with us, which ruined the mood for the rest of the meal. This is truly unfortunate, that a restaurant with such tasty food has such rude workers. We will not be coming back.

Honestly, the food here is really fresh and delicious. The space is also very clean and aesthetic. My boyfriend and I had been planning to eat here for a while.
I’m giving it two stars because my boyfriend and I waited an hour and a half for our food, which wasn’t a problem until we watched at least 5 tables turn around us because they got their food in a timely manner, ate and left.
I don’t wanna blame it on the color of my skin, but I’d be lying if I said that we weren’t the darkest people in there.
We remained polite, asked for our check and boxed and tipped, but the waitress was pretty passive aggressive and asked us if were in some kind of rush.
Oh well. We won’t be back! Food is great though. Just maybe try to come in when it’s empty if you’re darker than a brown paper bag lol.

The sushi was not fresh. My gf got the dragon roll and it was terrible. Had some weird sauce all over it. Not fresh. The restaurant wasn’t very clean the floors were sticky as well as the table. Do not recommend.

First time trying and Yuzu sushi is a solid spot with many rolls. I started off with the tuna crisp which was pretty decent. I was expecting bigger chunks of tuna but it’s actually very fine pieces with tempura mixed in. Then I had the scallop, yellowtail, and spider roll. I liked the yellowtail maki roll the most and it tasted fresh and fatty. However the scallop roll was just okay. I noticed they use the smaller scallop variety which is probably why. Overall solid meal with good ambiance

I only ordered through Uber eat. The food was great! For the transitional Japanese food, compare to other Japanese restaurants in town, Yuzu’s dishes are the best I’ve tried. Their sushi rice is real Japanese SUSHI RICE. The seafood was very fresh!

I just picked up my daughter from her private school and was looking for dinner in the Chamblee area. I was not in the mood for any food in the Buford Hwy. I needed to do a little shopping at Walmart afterwards and I remember going to Yuzu few years ago and can't remember why I didn't go back but tonight I ordered Sashimi salad, Chamblee crunch roll, and my daughter ordered the Teriyaki Salmon bento. The food was delish, super fresh, and clean. Presentation gets a A++! I really enjoyed my meal. I will be going back for dinner!

Great Sushi restaurant. Well prepared food. Fresh and freshly made. Nice, cool, complimentary drink options. Good service. And a bright, inviting environment. If you like Sushi and haven't tried Yuzu Sushi, do!!

Overall we had a nice dinner here. We really enjoyed the rolls we tried. Loved the Salmon Lemon roll and Hot Night roll and the Double tuna roll was also pretty good. Spicy dynamite roll wasn't our favorite. Service was speedy, but lacking in terms of friendliness. Nobody was rude, but the staff were curt and not personable. That's my only complaint and we will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.

This our favorite restaurant! After trying other sushi places for years, we landed on Yuzu being the best! We’ve been coming to Yuzu consistently for years. The staff knows our name and our orders and treats us like family! Even when it’s really busy, the atmosphere is very calming and feels like home! The spicy tuna crispy rice is the best you’ll find anywhere!
