We spent a wonderful two + hours here doing the tour and tasting. It was a great experience. Doug, owner/operator & Master Distiller, led the tour. Doug is a super personable guy with a ton of knowledge about making whiskey. He explains the science behind his craft and makes the tour fun and interesting. Came here on a whim. Not disappointed! Atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and a great chill spot. Owner is super knowledgeable and is the Einstein of his trade. Melissa is great at taking care of you and everyone else. Will ABSOLUTELY be back!
Came here on a road trip from Oregon to Savannah, and this was the highlight of the trip. Meg was so wonderful and helpful with their vast selection of tasty whiskey. Although we just met, she made us feel like long time friends. Southern hospitality is very much alive at Moonrise Distillery!
