Found this place while passing through. Great portions of chopped, juicy, pork. We had the pork sandwich & pork melt with sides of mac-n-cheese, coleslaw, baked beans & potato salad and all were delicious. (FYI: the mac-n-cheese is rich & creamy & highly worth it.) The BBQ sauce is definitely NC style. My boys loved their sweet tea which wasn't super sweet like most we've had on our trip. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, relaxed local setting when you need to get off the highway & relax for a meal.

I didn’t get what I came for bone in ribs, Got pulled pork instead, Bone in ribs were not available until after 4pm. I also had a bad stomach ache that evening after leaving the restaurant..

Amazing staff and service and awesome traditional true hickory smoked BBQ the way it should be. Whenever we pass through Rabun Country GA it's a mandatory stop for us!! Congratulations to them on 30 years

Outstanding Southern BBQ. We stop here whenever we pass through Clayton and they are actually open, which is the only complaint (only 3 days a week!!). Pork and ribs are top-notch, sides are good, and even the chicken wings are on point. Good Brunswick Stew, which is a great way to check for a quality Georgia BBQ place. Desserts are good also, though we usually have to get them to go because portions are ample as well.
