Distillery located in Clayton Georgia very close to Helen. We visited on October 23 and were very well attended by the manager and the bartender. We tried the Limoncillo, a gin and a bourbon. We found the drinks to have excellent bouquet and flavor. We found out that they also make martinis and other drinks. LOVE this spot! If you are in the Clayton area, this is a must-visit! The establishment is tucked up on a hill and is very lovely inside and out. They make all of their liquor on site and you can even take a private tour of the facility. There are two bars and a gift shop where you can taste before you buy. I booked the tour because my boyfriend loves Bourbon. We learned so much on the tour and were able to appreciate the lessons in the tasting! I’m now a Bourbon believer- it will just have to come from Moonrise!!! Thank you, Doug, for giving us your time, knowledge, and expertise!
