“Yonah Burger is a must-visit spot after conquering the Yonah mountain summit. A group of five of us stopped here for lunch. Opting for the Cheese Burger Delux with fries and drinks, we eagerly anticipated tasting the renowned Yonah burger—until we encountered the French fries, which were overly salty. Upon voicing our concern, the staff promptly replaced them with a less salty batch. Aside from that hiccup, the fries were delightfully crispy and flavorful. The Yonah Burger itself boasted an authentic taste that we all savored. To our surprise, the new owner emerged and apologized for the salty fries, explaining that it was the new cook's first day. Such mishaps on the first day are easily forgiven. We particularly appreciated the new owner's warmth and transparency. Learning about the rich history of Yonah Burger, established in 1968 and carried on for three generations, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.Parking: Parking could be challenging during peak hours. We had a little difficulty finding a parking space.“
“My only complaint is that the prices are high but what would you expect in a tourist town. Everything in Helen is pricey.They have somewhere around 36 flavors to choose from. There's lots of seating at picnic benches to catch your breath and cool off in the hot Georgia summers and to escape the cold with a hot pretzel or elephant ear in the mountain winters.“
“Very casual and laid back.We visited today as a party of 7 - four adults and three children. The female owner was so patient with us as we decided on our order. Even when we decided at the last minute that we wanted our food "to go", she handled it kindly and wrapped it all up for us. We ended up walking across the parking lot - about 150 yards - to picnic tables along the river.We ordered three corn dogs for the kids and they ate them right up! The adults ordered a "build your own" hot dog, a Georgia dog (topped with peach relish, sriracha, and onions), a chicken sandwich, and a burger and fries. We enjoyed the meal and especially loved eating it alongside the river.“
“Found this place like a week ago and it's now My favorite place to go in Cleveland. The burgers and onions rings are so delicious. I don't normally like coleslaw but I like theirs. Their prices are low probably cheapest place in town but the quality is really what hits the mark here. And I love the old style decor they have. The staff is always so friendly when I come in, just lovely vibes. It is only cash which I don't mind at all bc it's old school. Make sure you stop by! You know I will. ?“
