Applebee's Grill + Bar

I regret having gone to have dinner with my family at this location. We waited over an hour the food for five people... they weren't even busy, and the portion sizes were tiny. The waitress was ok but i had better service other time, but I will never take my family there again. Terrible service....

It's been years since I've been to an applebee's everyone had a great time, the cut of steak was very tough, I mean to the point their knives wouldn't cut it, had to resort to the pocket knife. Shrimp were just common box of frozen shrimp. Green beans were good, broccoli was perfect. The service was good,

This Valentine’s Day afternoon completely turned around because of the amazing team at the Applebee’s on Airport Thruway in Columbus, GA. Before arriving, we had just left another restaurant where the service wasn’t memorable, so we decided to give Applebee’s a try — and I’m so glad we did.

Seven greeted and seated us with such a warm and positive attitude, and even though she wasn’t our main server, she continued checking on us throughout our visit. Rochelle M. was our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing — attentive, upbeat, and made sure we had everything we needed without us even asking. The teamwork between Rochelle and Seven created an experience that felt welcoming, genuine, and truly special.

Their energy and professionalism made our Valentine’s Day so much better that we said we would rather come back to this location twice a month than go to an upscale restaurant where the service doesn’t compare. Exceptional service like this is what keeps customers coming back!

The food was great!! I just wish the service had been better. The staff were too busy disappearing rather than waiting on the few tables that were occupied. Also, they need to do a little better about cleaning up when guests leave. There was food all over the tables and floors from other patrons fifteen to twenty minutes after they had left.

We were unable to find our server for 75% of the time, we weren’t given silverware and had to find someone and ask them for it. The bourbon street steak was room temperature and drowning in cold liquid. My and my friend got mac and cheese and it was cold and stale, the cheese was sitting at the bottom so you know it was sitting out for a long time.

Kathryn at the airport thruway location !!!! Best server i have had in a restaurant ! She was very sweet and very attentive ! Its more than a job to her she loves what she does ! I will be back to request her specifically !!! Thank you so much Kathryn for your excellent service ! My food was fresh and hot it came out quickly never had tonask for refills , napkins etc ! Came here on 18 January 2026 around 7 pm, the place was empty, maybe 4 or 5 tables. The bigger blonde girl at the front door asked us if a high top booth would be OK even though we had two very small children....what a stupid recommendation. We order our food and I order a $20 drink for my wife, I see the bartender make it and it proceeds to sit on the side of the bar for almost 30 minutes before our waitress finally goes over there and grabs it, and it can't be because she was busy there was less than 20 people in the entire restaurant. Our food comes out and my wife ordered the chicken Parmesan Alfredo and her chicken was so soggy that it you couldn't eat it. And my daughter's macaroni and cheese had the texture of it has been sitting all day and then was put in the microwave. Just overall a terrible meal/experience, spent $70 to get food that I could've gotten better at McDonald's. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS APPLEBEES
