“This was my first time at Jhoomar, and my bf and I came for a Valentine's Day date, so they had a special menu that was so amazing! I love Indian food, and my boyfriend has never tried it before, so it was very exciting for both of us! We split the temptation chili chicken (which we both LOVED) and the sweetheart dragon cheese sticks (the cheese inside was paneer! yum!) as appetizers. I had the prawn coconut curry at a 4/5 spice level with cheesy garlic naan & basmati rice, which was all so great, and my boyfriend had the paneer masala at a 1/5 spice level with the black magic sesame seed naan & basmati rice and absolutely loved it!!! Both of our dishes were so delicious, though we both agreed next time we will up our spice level! My boyfriend doesn't drink, so I drank both of the cocktails that were included in the special menu price lol, and I loved the chocolate cafe martini & the margarita - so juicy & fruity! For dessert, we had Dubai chocolate cheesecake, which is just as incredible as it sounds!!! We are excited to come back and try more delicious, authentic Indian cuisine off their full menu!! 😍“

“This place has some of the best food in town that I’ve found so far! Don’t let the looks of this place fool you or you will miss out. The bartenders greet you as soon as you sit down, very fast service, the cook came out to greet me, the people were extremely friendly and nice to me. Not only was the burger absolutely delicious but it was huge!!! They are not stingy with their food portions! Their prices are very reasonable. I love this place. 10/10 highly recommended!“

“Great find and a must try. We were in Columbus for a conference and had this recommended to us. I am so glad. I had the wings and hands down they were the best I have ever had. Great size, juicy, slight char and the sauce was incredible. Add to this the self serve beer station and a ton of tv's. It's on my permanent list of places to eat when in Columbus Ga. The staff was very friendly and the entire restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend it. Give it a try.“

“My brother and sister in law stopped here while waiting for our table at the Flying Biscuit. The service was percection. The bartender didn't let me order anything without sampling it first, which i greatly appreciate. The drinks were served in ice cold mugs. The theme was one of the coolest I've ever seen. And we didn't have to chug our beers when our table was ready because you're allowed to take your drinks to go as long as you're inside the property. 5/5 I'll be coming back.“

“We went to Columbus to visit a friend whose son had graduated phase one of Army boot camp. The hotel was beautiful, and clean. It is in a nicer area of Columbus and there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area.“

However, the service could have been a lot better had they had attentive waiters and bartenders coming around to tables/sections. It's a nice place for a bit of chatter and a cocktail. The food on their menu could've been alot more fulfilling ration for what you're paying. Overall I really enjoyed my date night there!“

“A hidden gem right on Broadway in Uptown Columbus. Literally. You Have to look closely or you will miss it. An exclusive aspect. As soon as you walk in the 1st door, you see a cigar room to the right and you are greeted/carded. Once granted access, you enter through the second door that goes into the main area. Tons of seating in booths or at a lengthy bar that showcases an extensive array of liquors, especially whiskeys and bourbons. As a 1st timer, I ordered a smoked old-fashioned. The bartender was great. Pleasant, personable, knowledgeable, and social. Also, the drink was great. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“Thanks to the Manager for helping serve an out of town Hockey Team with Pizza after the game meal. Pizzas were great and delivered on his own time to the Hotel. We had called several competitors prior to Mellow Mushroom, only to be treated and talked to rudely and not helpful at all. We needed to purchase enough to feed 35 hungry guys He made it happen. The fried green tomatoes were excellent along with my pesto & shrimp pasta and my husband’s pecan crusted salmon. Also couldn’t resist the red velvet cake! Would definitely recommend and return when in the area.“
