One of the most beautiful restaurants in the Columbus area I’ve seen in awhile. Extremely modern and decorated well. Has spots where you can take pictures, bar for drinks with friends, tables big enough for a good sized party, and don’t get me started on the food. I’m not familiar with Indian food, so the fact they had a menu with pictures was extremely helpful. Everything was so flavorful, not overly seasoned or spicy. Jhoomar Indian Cuisine is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the Columbus area, with an extremely modern and well-decorated interior featuring spots for pictures, a bar for drinks, and tables for good-sized parties. The food is yummy, flavorful, and not overly seasoned or spicy. A helpful menu with pictures is available for those unfamiliar with Indian food, and the restaurant is children friendly. Recommended appetizers include the temptation chili chicken, sweetheart dragon cheese sticks (with paneer), scallops, onion fritters, and vegetable samosas. The lamb is tender and cooked to perfection. For mains, the prawn coconut curry and paneer masala are delicious, served with cheesy garlic naan or black magic sesame seed naan and basmati rice. The yellow lentil daal is beautifully spiced, and the gluten-free masala chickpea naan comes warm in a foil-insulated bag. Cocktails like the chocolate cafe martini and margarita are juicy and fruity. For dessert, the Dubai chocolate cheesecake is incredible. The dining experience is amazing, elevated, and most delightful, with many vegan options available.
