Love this place, it's low key and the drinks are superior to the generic sugary Starbucks beverages. It's very very clean. They don't have a large selection of pastries but it's not the end of the world, go for the lattes and coffee.

The staff member who took our order was a bit rude but the food was amazing. My husband and I went for the first time today and he really loved the nitro cold brew. I asked for a vanilla latte and the barista gave me a snooty look, rolled her eyes, and spoke down to me while explaining that they don't make any flavored syrups. I debated on walking out but given how hungry I was, we stayed. My regular latte was sub par but I'd go back for the food.

Amazing coffee and tea prepared by wonderfully warm baristas. Seasonal menu was concise and creative. The owner was happy to chat with us about the origin of the coffee, the menu decisions, and even what music was playing in the background. Highly recommended.

Visited on 11.20.19 around lunch time, I had a Cortada which was exceptional absolutely no need at all for Sugar or a sweetener. Plus the overall look & design of the place is incredible
Perfection is an understatement. No doubt the boys at Motif have figured out what coffee should very well be, an experience, and they deliver with flying colors. Do yourself a favor and scratch every coffee place you’ve been at, this is the real deal.

What a wonderful new addition to North Columbus and Old Town ... an upscale coffee shop with high tech yet minimalistic decor. The cappuccino and avocado toast was unlike I've tasted here in Columbus. It is a tad pricey ... so while it won't be an everyday thing for me, I s return!
