The server put a glass bowl on the ground and allowed a dog to drink water out of it- the same bowl customers eat out of. To think customers want to share dishes with dogs is quite disturbing. I was so turned off I was not able to finish my meal.
Camille was a great server and food was good.

I never had the opportunity to enjoy dinner due to the poor service we received from the hostess. Management could benefit from having her undergo customer service training. While the general manager attempted to resolve the issue, I can’t justify spending my money at a place where I don’t feel appreciated or welcomed.

Collard greens were too sweet but other than that everything was perfect. Camille was our server and was very nice and had great customer service. Recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes, Cajun Dip, and Meatloaf,

Sierra was so kind and personable!
The outside porch was nice, but the shades kept breaking and smacking us in the head. We sat at two different tables….
Squash casserole was super bland.
But, again, Sierra was awesome and a sweetheart.

The staff were clearly overwhelmed or understaffed when we ate here recently for dinner on a Friday night. We probably waited almost an hour for our food. Our waitress was nice enough and apologized for the wait but overall a disappointing experience. Food was “ok” but for the price definitely not worth it for us. We had the shrimp and grits and the chicken flourintine and a glass of wine. My wife really liked the chicken flourintine so that’s the one bright spot for this visit.

I had a wonderful experience my first time at Charred Oak, the food was amazing and my server Camille was very nice and friendly and made the experience enjoyable the only downside was we sat near the bar and there were a lot of fruit flies
Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian friendly appetizers and sides that can be purchased a la cart and pieced together as well as large salad options

Food was great!! Had a wonderful server who was very attentive (I believe his name was Josh, not sure) we ordered the chicken Florentine and salmon. Good flavor!! We sat on the patio and as there were shades to block out sun, I would suggest fans. We saw heaters (were not on) but definitely needed a fan or two! Was also a bit too quiet. No music playing and the tables are pretty close together, which allows you to hear others conversations. Over all was a good experience with tasty food and cocktails!!
