Stepping into this spot feels like finding a hidden treasure filled with incredible aromas. The selection of baked goods is impressive, with everything from flaky pastries to traditional breads that taste like they were pulled right out of the oven. I tried a few of the savory dishes as well, and the flavors were bold, authentic, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. It’s a very welcoming and humble atmosphere where you can tell the staff takes a lot of pride in their recipes and their community. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick morning coffee and a sweet treat or sitting down for a full meal, the quality is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable. It’s the kind of local gem that makes you want to keep coming back to try everything else in the display case.

Amazing food! Delicious. The staff was so nice and helpful when ordering. It was our 1st time here and even the other customers were nice and helpful. If we were staying in town longer we would definitely be coming back. Its small inside and there are 3 tables that fit 8 each.

Amazing lunch experience here! Just an incredibly warm and welcoming place, the folks here walked us through the menu and options and helped a group of six of us put together a fantastic lunch! The food was delicious and a great value, and they even had some highly sought after beverages from around the world! Would defintiely recommend this diamond in the rough!

Purchased a coffee, guava and cheese pastry, and a Madrugada sandwich. Overall good, however, the one complaint I have is that the pastries can be warmed before giving to the customer. Ventanita items are usually warmed but the pastry was just cold, so not as satisfying. Nothing too crazy about the coffee either.

My husband and I stopped in today. The food was fantastic, seasoned to perfection and the portions were very good. I had the tripleta and he had the pastrami sandwich. The owner was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Man where do I even start! Man first off the food is so DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC!! The only place in all of GA & AL that has the best puertorican food and amazing prices for the food!! The staff is also suppper friendly and welcoming ! I’ve been living in Alabama almost 2 years now and I’m so happy I found this place 🥹😍 I will never eat or try another place again! I pray this business flourishes and grows even bigger than what it is now 🙏

I had a great experience at La Garita in Columbus, GA. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The tostones with garlic are amazing, and the beef stew with arroz con gandules was packed with flavor. The portions are very generous, and the customer service is excellent. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
