Great American Cookies

Purchased cookies from this location and the cookies were not soft or fresh. The quality of the cookies seemed as if they were old or maybe overcooked. Called the store to make them aware and I was told that it was nothing they could do & if I filed a complaint that they didn’t know the web address but I could look it up myself. This is the only location that I’ve been to where the cookies seemed old.

Went in and the woman who helped us was very rude. My daughter was looking forward to this all weekend and one they did not have the ice cream, which you can’t help. However, the fact that it says UNLIMITED MIX INS is very clear. And the woman was rude as my daughter kindly asked for more. We will never come back to this location.

Dropped my ice cream in my car before I could take a bite and the girl wouldn’t remake it (I was friendly and I tipped). Then she says “I can give you a bowl though”….. as if I were going to scoop it out of the cupholder and still eat it.

Great American Cookie has been my family’s go-to every single year for my birthday, and they never disappoint! this year, they completely outdid themselves. thank you for making my birthday extra special once again! 🩷🍪

It was so amazing , everything is homemade , the service is awesome and they are so nice and vibrant.

Made our party very special! What we ordered was delicious (everyone kept asking where it was from!) and it looks just like the picture online. Best cookie cake from anywhere in Columbus! AND cheaper than Publix or Walmart!

the staff are among the kindest, most accommodating folks i’ve dealt with in a long time!! i ordered a cake for a day later than i thought i did, and they made me one right then and there, being so gracious with me despite my mistake. yall are the best!!

I had 2 birthdays in the month of October back to back, and Great American cookie came through all the way!! The entire staff is friendly, the owners make you feel at home whenever you walk in, they brought my ideas for the cakes to life and I couldn’t be more appreciative of them! Asked them to cook one of the cakes just a little longer because my mother is extremely picky, and they did their best to accommodate me and even remembered the next time I came In to ask how the cookie was being cooked just a little longer, definitely give them a shot! My mother loved the cake and was so happy!

Worst experience ever!!!! I had went to Great Americans on whittlesey in Columbus, Ga on Friday, October 4, 2024 in the evening time to order a customize cookie for my boyfriend birthday. It was last minute very understandable but the service was really bad today for some reason. I have ordered customize cakes from them in the past but I never been to this location at all before. For this to be my first time will be my last time because the customer service was terrible, nobody acknowledge whatsoever, everybody pretty much ignored me until I said something, and then when I asked to see if I get a customized cake made it was very unsure and hesitate at first and was told it will take 2 hours and was already $30. I was very understanding that was not the issue. When it was time to pickup the cake I was once again not acknowledged after standing for a couple of minutes to see if anybody was going to help me. I ended up trying to talk to somebody and when I was shown my cake it looked very tacky had all the writing done correctly the icing around the happy of the beginning part was messed up. Like for somebody you could’ve done better like I paid my money I would like to get my money worth. I told one of the associates that I wasn’t pleased with the cake and she was very annoyed judging by her facial expressions. She didn’t seem like she cared and more like she didn’t dare to help me. She was like what do you want me to do because we did it on the whelm. Nobody here can do it professionally at the moment and she messed up and tried redo it but we can’t do it back over. It’s already late so what you would like for us to do about it. I was so annoyed because they was willing to take my money but did poorly at the detailing and the professionalism of presenting it. I’m not pleased and never coming back again ever to this location. I politely don’t want no part here and let it be known to them I don’t want to come back again because I don’t want no refund I just don’t want to come here no more!!!!

Upon arrival I was greeted with the friendliest customer service I would have to say probably ever in my life. Unfortunately, I didn’t get this gentleman’s name behind the counter, but he was so kind.

Waited to get kids cookies after we ate. Not once was I greeted. Two customers after me were helped. I finally left.
