Ordered delivery but after an hour of zero communication I had to go pick it up

I want to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had with Madison, who was working around 9 p.m. on 8/22.

This is the second time she took my order through the phone and on both occasions, she failed to ask if I would like to leave a tip when taking my order. Usually, this is not an issue because many drivers accept Cash App or Venmo, but one particular older gentleman who has delivered to us a few weeks ago does not use those apps. I felt terrible to not tip him the first time, especially knowing how hard he works and how much every tip matters. I didn’t think I’d get the same delivery driver but it just so happens I did!

I asked if I could call Marcos and tip him since he didn’t have venmo or cash app and he said I could.

When I called politely to ask how I could still leave a tip for the driver, Madison immediately had a nasty attitude. She told me she could not help since my order had already been placed. I then asked if I could buy something else just to add a tip, and she rudely stated I could have tipped with cash. I let her know not everyone carries cash and asked to speak to a manager and she refused then disconnected the call. When I called back, she picked up and hung up several times. All I asked was to speak with someone else who might be able to help me, but she continued to be rude and dismissive.

What makes this worse is that the delivery driver himself mentioned I could call back and pay that way. I had promised him I would tip generously, and I feel awful that Madison prevented me from doing so.

No customer should be treated with such disrespect, and no hardworking driver should miss out on a tip because of an employee’s attitude or unwillingness to help. For the sake of your business and your drivers, I strongly urge you to address this situation. Employees like Madison, who are unprofessional and rude to paying customers, reflect very poorly on your company.

I ordered a pizza on line, made a mistake on the order. Called back immediately to ask if it could be changed. The associate said she didn’t see the order, she asked if I ordered it at the Double Churches store? I checked to see and it was ordered there. Called back , she checked the order again and said it might be to late, came back to the phone and said” yep, it’s to late, it’s been in the oven for a minute now. I told her I wanted a full refund.then hung up, called back, kept putting me on hold without answering. She finally answered and I told the associate that I don’t understand why I can’t it it changed ( isn’t the customer always right). She then put me on hold quickly, then the manager got on the phone” I said hi, are you the manager? He said “ oh yes sir I am , rudely” I said “ what’s your name? He says “ what’s your name? I said I don’t understand why you can’t change the order? He states” you see how this conversation is going ( very loudly ) As I tried to speak back with him with got very loud and wouldn’t let me speak. I called the police to meet me up there. I told them my side and the officer went in and spoke with Greg who is the manager. Officer comes out with a receipt for a refund and hands it to me. The officers stated there while I went in to ask for his name , he said his name was Greg, I said can you give me the associates name and the owner of the Marcos. He looks at me and says that’s all I’m going to give you. I asked , why, because you know you were wrong, he laughs and says , Oh I’m wrong?I then said I wanted to order the pizzas I wanted to begin with. He looks at me and says What? I said I want to place an order. Greg states “ I’m not placing your order for anything and could you leave? Then , my daughter shows up to check on me. She then goes in and orders what I wanted to begin with and brings it to me.
What poor customer service Greg and his staff have. What happened to “ the customer is always right? Greg you are a POC

I ordered my food.It was done in a timely matter.It was fresh.It was hot when I received it.Customer service was wonderful from the gentleman who was by himself, but he did wonderful.

Lately I haven’t been having a great experience because one last night I place an order and they cancel because they said there oven broke. Today I try to make in order and they said it’s gone be 1 hour wait what I be upset is that the fact that I love this places and lately I can’t order from here. They are not trying to sell me pizza 😭

Ashley Hoskins at Marcos on double churches, is THE MAN, Not just at slinging pizza, but got pizzazzz! Friendly and funny, and ya get alot for ya money, so don't be a dummy, order now, go and get it you and won't regret it!. And Maddie to, the customer service guru, the best place in the city thru and thru!

This place just completely messed up my order. I ordered a deluxe pizza with no sausage on one side and I got a cheese pizza on one side. The manager asked my family not to eat any of this pizza and starve while we wait 25 minutes for the appropriate pizza. Horrible service. I’m sure the franchise owner would not like their managers saying this information. Of course I had to let my child eat a few slices since they are crying.

The pizza is the best around and most of the staff is very nice. Half the price of one of the other pizza joins in town that makes some great pizza. I'm hoping they will make some speciality pizzas sometime. Like maybe shiitake mushrooms. I'm sure it would go over well. Keep up the good work.
