This was probably the best meal I have had in the US! I got the prime rib and my wife got the pork trio and it was amazing. Our server Kyleigh was so kind and took great care of us. Yes it is on the expensive side for Columbus but it is very nice for an occasion. Highly recommend!

I have only dined her before for business meetings, but snuck in at the bar with some friends during the busy holiday rush. I’ve always loved the food, but the service, while not bad, had been forgettable until now. Jen and Jamie were incredible! They both were so friendly and kept us laughing the entire experience! The drinks were spot on and Jen really knew her stuff with alcohol and especially wine. As a certified wine sommelier, I was overly impressed and reflected that in my tip. I’ve told all my local clients to come see them for a fun night with stand up service. Best bar staff in Columbus!

Spent last Saturday night at Morten’s at Old Town and really enjoyed the food so much. The red fish was light and flakey and paired so well with the grits and veggie medley. My wife had the beef Wellington and it was a must have again in our book. Clearly meals are prepared in a detailed manner with so many home runs. Meal ended with G. Chocolate cake which was good size and a huge hit! Wish we had been asked about coffee or after dinner drinks but the bartender/waitress fell well short of just asking. Cannot wait to go back and try the other specials as seen on Istagram! Follow them and you will be glad you did!

Service and atmosphere is great. Drink menu is underwhelming. Beef Wellington was well done and wasn't that great. Presentation is great, all the plates look spectacular, just lacking in flavor and execution. Restaurant looks amazing, it's a beautiful place. Just nothing I ate or drank wow'd me. In this price range, I'd stay in town and go to Salt Sellar.

I have rarely written a bad review of a restaurant, but I’m making an exception for this place. My wife and I were wanting to celebrate an anniversary tonight and we looked on the reviews and chose Morten’s. I looked online to see if they take reservations and there was no place to reserve a spot. We decided to get ready and go there after work. The receptionist greeted us and said there would be a 30 min wait. The bar was full so I stood by an open spot and waited for the bartender. When she got to me , she said she was slammed and she’d get back to me when she could. She also told the host that she should not seat people so she can catch up. That’s fine. I waited for her to get to my order and looked at the restaurant. It was half full and there was a table for two by the window. After waiting 20 mins for our order, we finally received it AND the table for two was still open. We sat on a couch in front of the door and waited patiently for the “open” table for two to be available. At no time had reached out to us to let us know about our wait, if we would like to sit at the bar, or if they would be able to seat us at anytime while we were there. After the 30 minutes had past, three groups of over five people came in and were immediately seated. Again, no one came up to us to explain why we weren’t seated in open table. After another 10 mins , I asked the host why we were not being seated in the open seat and she got defensive. To the owner: you just turned away an over $200 tab at your restaurant because your staff would not communicate with us about this situation. Also, I sat there and watched you at your kitchen bar look at us on the couch multiple times. Not once did you come over to introduce yourself and apologize on why we were not being seated. It’s said a good review is worth a few customers and a bad review will reach hundreds- guess what, here’s what you sowed
Disappointing. The drinks, dessert and service were great! The entree was fair. They were out of the specials (at 8 PM on Friday???) The menu was much smaller than we expected so we didn’t have many options. The filet was full of gristle but the edible portions had a good flavor, The Brussel sprouts were delicious but not enough of them. Nice experience will not return.

Great atmosphere, great service. Had the pork chop... never got to the meat... too much fat. Looked like a nice cut but.... Very little seasoning on the pork. actually bland. Not a fan of the pork chop offering. Would not consider again!
