Peppone’s Ristorante Pizzeria

I came in on a date night excited to eat some good Italian but was disappointed in the good, prices, and service. The aesthetic is very outdated but it seemed like a family run establishment so I didn’t care. We waited at least 30 minutes for our appetizers when there was literally only 2 other tables there. The service was so slow and the food was just okay so for the price, definitely wasn’t worth it to me. The table next to us even said “this place used to be so much better, it may just be an off night” I’m not sure if it was but I’ll stick to my other favorites.

I'm skeptical of newish places but I was pleasantly surprised! The Italian food is good, and the German food is my favorite. Some places look nice and fancy but the food ends up tasting subpar. This place looks like a small mom and pop place but the food was worth it. Worth checking out and see/taste for yourself!

My family has been eating Peppone’s once or twice a month for the last couple of years. Hands down, it’s our favorite restaurant! The chefs are amazing! Their menu changes a lot, and it’s always delicious. I’m a very picky eater, but I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten from Peppone’s. Oh, and make sure you get some dessert when you stop in or call in your order.

Avoid at all cost unless you want your whole family throwing up all night! Many bugs were crawling around. The food was not good, burnt flour caked on the bottom of the pizza, bland pasta with no seasonings. Restaurant went downhill fast when the new owner took over, save your money and find Italian food that wont make you sick!

Not good at all. You have no taste buds if you think this is good. The worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Seriously just go somewhere else.Crust= Bland flour zero tasteDough= soggy bread in the middle like a wet sponge.Sauce= ketchup but water it down with warm water and remove any spices.Toppings= imported from canned straight to your pizza.Cheese= soggy mop bucket cheese that was scooped out of a bucket.Little Ceasars is better and they make pizza on low quality ingredients.Please just try it for yourself and if you agree give this review a thumbs up.

This place could be so good if it just actually tried.. the atmosphere is terrible, the servers just wear whatever they want to work and when we arrived there was bleach puddles on our table. One of the lasagnas we ordered tasted like chemicals and the Caesar salad that was $6 barely filled a small wooden bowl. Several members of our party had upset stomachs the next day. The only good thing I have gotten there is some of the pasta dishes (which is saving this review from a one star) but with how bad the atmosphere is I can’t even bring myself to go back.

I am a worldly traveler who has eaten in Italy quite often. I visited family in August and had the pleasure of dining. The food was delicious. However, the service was slow, as are most restaurants, due to staff shortages everywhere these days. Kudos to this small family restaurant. Who would have known little Italy was in Columbus. See you next year?

Some of the best pizza I have had in a while!! I love that the pizza is cooked in a brick oven with fire, it gives it that great taste! The garlic knots and the garlic bread were really good as well! We will definitely eat here again!

I used to like their food. The quality has gone down. Bread was the worst. Pizza was ok but unevenly cooked.

Let me mention first that the waitress was really nice. She was as sweet as sweet can be. However the service was absolutely terrible, she had only been working 4 days, she seemingly had no training. She shows up to the table only when called when i asked what beer they served she mistaked sparkling water for a beer, just alot of things she just didn'tknow or just wasn'tfamiliarwith. Not her fault because she litterally served every table in the establishment. There are 4 or 5 people behind the counter thats full of old receipts paperwork and whatever else ( looks like a back office thats shared by 5 and meant for 1). Im guessing 2 of them were maybe the owners children because they were only concerned with their phones. I understand a family run establishment but i feel this one should have been kept at home.They ran out of all beer i had the last bud lite which i chose because everything else was already gone. I taste my wifes wine and say ok no problem bring me one of those. She brings it to me and there's lipstick on the wine glass...lol (see pictures) and thats the last of the wine.Calamari was cold and chewy, cheesesticks were ok. The chicken inside the chicken parm was cooked perfectly the rest of it left alot to be desired. The seafood stew that was recommended to be ordered spicy on the menu came out bland.The fat boy in me had already planned to order a pizza to go because neither me or my wife could choose pizza or an entrée. "So why choose get both!"...We decided against it.

I messaged their page seeing if they had anything vegan, the reply was I can make you anything but we don’t have any vegan cheese! This my friends was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was lovely. We will be back.

Our first visit here. I ordered mushroom & spinach pizza with white sauce. It was very good and tasty. And the crust was out of this world!!!! I highly recommend Peppone’s! We will return!
