The Flying Biscuit Cafe Reviews
Waitress ran my card for twice the amount of our food. When she realized the error, the assistant manager said to check for a refund in 5-7 days from my bank. I asked for a confirmation # or transaction ID to confirm that it was refunded/voided on their end. She said only the GM can do it and he was not at the store at the moment. I offered to wait, then she said he was out of town for the rest of the day but would get the info as requested from him. Then she said there is no...read full review
I arrived to pick up my order, only to find the coffee I had purchased was missing. I had to double-check my order and the printed chit before asking about it.
The employee seemed confused and asked, “There is supposed to be a drink?” I pointed out that it was clearly listed on the chit.
A supervisor stepped in and explained that my coffee had a modification that cost an extra $0.60. The problem? Their online ordering system offers no way to charge for, or even...read full review
First and foremost I absolutely love the Flying Biscuit as a restaurant, but today July 11th 2025 at approximately 8:35am I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a restaurant. The Flying Biscuit Cafe offers a great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of breakfast items. The food, including French toast, Salmon and Eggs, Pancakes, and Honey butter chicken, is delicious. The stuffed French toast and chorizo hash come highly recommended by customers. Service is consistently excellent, with friendly staff like Candy and Jennifer providing attentive care. The environment is clean, bright, and full of character, featuring murals that add to its charm. While some customers found the potatoes (home fries) a bit dry and lacking flavor, the creamy dreamy grits have been praised as the best ever. The omelet and biscuits are also considered top notch, with the biscuits being especially fluffy and good. The atmosphere has a garage-like vibe that many find appealing. Portions are generally large, and the coffee is highly rated, though some feel the portions might be small for the price. Overall, the interior is nice and inviting, making it a place worth visiting again to try other menu items.
