I purchased a sushi roll (bulldogs roll was and is always amazing) and ginger ale. I sat in the store and waiting for my food. I took a sip of my ginger ale and it tasted off. When I looked at the label the ginger ale expired close to 20 days ago. I procceded to tell the lady working there she took it and asked if I wanted another. I don’t drinks so my other option she said was more than I already paid the expired drink for. She had a bad attitude when I told her. When I asked to see another ginger to make sure all the dates were truly expired. She proceeded to tell me they were all expired (there were 2 full rows and she did nothing to them). It made me question the state of the other foods and drinks that probably went unchecked.

I was extremely impressed with Wasabi from top top to bottom. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in picking a good meal, they were quick and attentive, and very polite. The food was incredible, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and the appetizers were to die for. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the colombus area.
First, I went to the Manchester Expressway location, we talked about my dietary constraints, and they were going to be able to accommodate me beautifully. Then I got a phone call from the person having the get together and she said, where are you? I was at the wrong wasabi. They were at the one on Bradley Park Drive.
Unfortunately, when I got to the Bradley Park store, I learned that they were unable to accommodate my diet. However, our server was determined to help me find something that I could eat, and she wound up coming up with a huge platform of steamed vegetables. Normally, I don't like steamed vegetables, but combination that was delicious and nutritious. I really appreciated her taking the time to figure that out with me. Not everyone would do that.
Went for lunch! Servings are different, please go expecting traditional light lunch, flavor was excellent and the price was perfectly proportionate! Every note in each dish danced like a delicate song. 10/10 if I could. Wait staff was phenomenal and the environment is exactly what should be expected.
Have eaten here many times and have usually enjoyed it. Came for lunch and tried ordering a hibachi chicken and steak with no onions and was told they can't separate them out because they premix the vegetables. Have never been told this, and it makes no sense. The server himself was nice, but let me know it was his boss cooking and he didn't like doing changes because it complicates things. Another person with me asked for no mushrooms and was told the same, and she had never had that issue either. Should also note, we were here around 11:30, so they weren't slammed or super busy.
So, went from eating here two or three times a month, to won't be coming back and wanting to warn people about either the inability or unwillingness to modify orders, even if due to allergies.
Edit after store response: It was not a misunderstanding. It was clearly explained multiple times and the waiter said it was his boss not willing to change anything since it was mixed together. Could go on, but its not worth the trouble. It's sad this wasn't taken seriously and just chalked up to a misunderstanding.
4.25. The food here was not only good, it was of good value too, and I am from and comparing to restaurants in San Diego known for their Teppanyaki dining. The chef had decent skills, and performed the best onion ring train I have seen to this day, (both of my sons agreed), he even used a a wooden train whistle to add to the rendition. The food was plenty, the cost was fair, the chef was nice and personable. Good job. (Asian chef with a tattoo sleeve on left arm, did not get his name)(Edited to add Chef Andreas' name)

Despite the actual building looking nice, the staff were extremely unattentive. I placed a to go order and they didn't even ask me for a name on the order. Once I got there, it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to greet me and the staff weren't even that busy. Once someone finally came over, I was told to wait on the bench for my food to come out in about 10 minutes. So I waited, and while I did, I saw a female server vaping inside of the building. The male server sat down to eat repeatedly throughout the time as well rather than either of them actually attending to the customers. Once I was tired enough of the wait, I went back up to one of the servers to ask for my food. She said the chef prepared food but did not know who's order it was, which was absolutely baffling. When I finally got the food, they didn't even ask for me to pay. I had to remind them that I had not paid yet, along with 2 other guests. I love Wasabi, but this will be my first and last time at this location. The date was Wednesday the 15th at around 12 30. Will not be back.
