Captain D's why did u mess up a good thing you had the best fish now you have messed up big time i guess it was cheaper to get that nasty farm grown Asian Catfish well you wont get anymore of my hard earned money that new fish is a mushy mess Change back to what the public loves Or sad to say another great restaurant out of business

Wanted fish but was very disappointed in the crab it was so hard I couldn't eat it. Threw both away and the shrimp was overcooked too. Will not ho back anytime soon. Very sad to see them go down hill.

They have changed the fish to a skinny strip that to me was dry. Drive through cashier was arguing with another country worker while we paid. Took longer to receive food.

I do reviews normally if the service is just horrendous or very good! I stopped to get a fish dinner/shrimp and got home to realize the slaw had a funny taste and smell. I wanted to reach out and let the restaurant know just in case someone may become ill. The manager answered and she was so polite, I forgot the coleslaw was even bad! Her customer service and voice was so pleasant. She knew exactly why the slaw wasn’t good due to a different mix being sent. She proceeded to explain it was being pulled and that I could get a replacement while back in the area! Tiara (manager) continue to provide excellent service and know it doesn’t go unnoticed! The rest of my food was great as always.

I visited this location today, 10/2, and there was a sign on the drive thru window that if the employee did not offer you the option to add on 5 butterfly shrimp for $1.99 that you would get them for free. The employee I interacted with, Sonia, never offered this, so when I asked her about the special, she blatantly LIED and said she did offer me 4 cocktail shrimp. She did not. I had 3 passengers in the car with me and asked if they heard her offer this and they also stated they didn't. & on top of that the sign explicitly stated a 5 piece butterfly shrimp as part of the special. I told her again she never offered me this and that if the real deal is that she has to offer a 4 piece cocktail shrimp or a 5 piece butterfly shrimp then the sign needs to be updated because it was misleading. She then got aggressive and lied again and said the sign was also on the drive thru sign, which it isn't. I also had to wait 5 minutes before she even took my order. She came on the speaker and said I could order and never mentioned the shrimp add on. I will not be visiting this location again. Please invest into hiring honest employees who are accountable for their mistakes.

I ordered a 2 piece fish meal with okra and cole slaw. I planned on eating the meal in the car on the way to the store. The fish was horrible. Very fishy taste. I threw 1/2 of the piece out of the window and then ate the sides.
I decided to go back to the restaurant for a refund and the lady said that I ate most of the meal and couldn’t get a refund. I said the sides weren’t the problem, the problem was the fish. The entree.
She then informed me that she needed to call her manager, and she spoke to her manager on the phone. The manager said to issue a refund.
When the cashier tried to issue the refund, she said that she could not and she needed to call the help desk.
I waited about 15 minutes and wondered if the worker was going to ignore me or continue to address my concern.
I went back to the counter, and asked if she had spoken to someone she said that she has customers. I kindly reminded her that I am a customer.
Approximately three minutes later, I was issued a refund.

I used to love Captain Ds. I really like the fried clams because they are always good. But today I ordered 4 pieces fish and it was a not like it was last year. The texture was off. So I opened up a piece of the fish and it’s nothing but mushed up substance. It doesn’t look like fish at all. Made me sick. That have went cheap and have some type of substitute for fish. Mystery meat. Never again

Please go back to the original fish!! The new fish is not good and will keep me from returning. The staff is nice enough, but I cannot deal with that thick, unnatural looking fish. It does not taste anything like fish. The sides and bread were descent.
