My visit to Island Vibes was very welcoming. The staff were friendly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout. I ordered the whole snapper, and it was perfectly seasoned—not too salty, not too bland. The music selection was also a highlight, with a diverse mix of songs that added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The young lady at the register was patient and helpful, even as I asked a few extra questions. It was good to see a smile on her face.Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning—next time with my family!

I ordered BBQ Jerk Salmon, rice and peas, steamed cabbage, and plantain. Everything was sooooo nice!!!!! The service was good and the chef when out of his way to make my request. The atmosphere wasn’t all that great to be honest, but I gave 5/5 for the extra care and effort.

Used to be my go to. Got served undercooked curry. I asked for oxtails in place of their mess up because my lunch was ruined. Only offered refund. This will be my last time visiting.

Ordered this on uber eats I’ve had them before so I thought mhm no problems were to come , I was beyond disappointed and will probably never eat here again unfortunately, the food it’s self is decent but the portions are laughable and quite disrespectful. I ordered a small oxtail on the app but it gave me the option to upsize to A Large for only $3.99 more so I did I got my food and imagine my surprise when I open the plate to find four little freaking pieces of meat a small scoop of Mac and cheese and maybe two scoops of rice , mind you I paid almost $40 for just this plate alone I’m pissed off and will be telling anyone and everyone to find another place if they’re looking for Caribbean food, wouldn’t recommend at all if I could give zero stars I would ,

Went today after giving them a break the soup was NASTY it tasted like they threw all the old leftover together. The curry pattie skin was good the inside was nasty 🤢 looking like when your child have a runny nose 👃 I just wasted my money 💴 again. They not ready. This the location on GA 138 I think the island folks can taste and see the difference.

I was so excited to purchase a Chicken Roti & fried plantains from this establishment just about 4pm today. However, I was very disappointed when I sat at my kitchen table less than 15 minutes later. The plantains were beyond burnt & dry; not freshly made. The inside of the plantains were the same burnt color & texture of the outside.The pieces of the inside of the chicken were very pink; some appeared with blood juice; seemingly not cooked all the way through. The round pot on the stove is what I ended up cooking. There is a sign in the establishment that says to check your food before you leave as nothing will be done if you return after leaving. The employees were pleasant. However, I could not rate the food any higher as the chicken was poorly prepared.

The recent dining experience presented several areas for improvement. The soup's texture was noted as undesirable, specifically its oily consistency. Furthermore, the service provided by the female server was perceived as lacking, as initial inquiries were not addressed. Conversely, the male server, who appeared to be new to the team, demonstrated a commendable level of professionalism. Due to the circumstances, specifically the presence of a hungry companion, an alternative dining location was not considered.

The rice and peas tasted weird and the gravy for the oxtail was not giving authentic oxtail. The jerk chicken was the only thing I enjoyed from the dish. The mac and cheese was not the best. I won’t be coming back.

The food is wonderful and the service is great. Each time I order patties 10 or more they wrap them up and I am able to freeze them for lunches later
I am a very satisfied customer.

When I recently returned from my Jamaican vacation I discovered this little gem of a restaurant right in the neighborhood. The food is always delicious and stays hot until you get home. It’s so well seasoned and clearly made with love. The place is clean with a 100% health score. I met one of the owners Carluta and her smile and service are always impeccable. My one constant issue is not being greeted when I enter unless Carluta is present. There are two young ladies that work for you and one of them doesn’t know a single thing about customer service. The other young lady is very welcoming and professional. I made a point of confronting the one with the attitude yesterday about it. Miss Carluta I fully support your business and have been consistently patronizing this black owned business in my own community since returning from Jamaica but when I read the other reviews I see I’m not the only one who has noticed. If she’s miserable like she projects each time she needs a different career. Bad service will affect your bottom line. I wish you nothing but the best!

I love Jamaican food today was my first time trying Island vibe. I can’t lie this is the best Jamaican food I’ve had in a while. I had the stew chicken with Mac and plantain. Top tier

Omg i love it here! The food is well seasoned, HOT, and delicious! This was a small plate, the portions are perfecto. So yummy, I would have lunch here everyday if it wouldn’t make me a big back lol

I visited this establishment on yesterday, I ordered the Oxtails. The food @ best was bare minimum not in size portion but over all flavor and taste. The young lady that served us was not very hospitable, her customer service levels were low ad preety much , non existent., that could be improved. But....if you seeking a spot that gives you large portions of food , not large portions of Flava , this may be the spot for you.
