Portions were great food was salted good but was not SEASONED. Felt like I was eating soul food not authentic jamaican. Oxtails tasted like stewed beef lol. Didnt hit the spot for me.
My visit to Island Vibes was very welcoming. The staff were friendly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout. I ordered the whole snapper, and it was perfectly seasoned—not too salty, not too bland. The music selection was also a highlight, with a diverse mix of songs that added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I ordered BBQ Jerk Salmon, rice and peas, steamed cabbage, and plantain. Everything was sooooo nice!!!!! The service was good and the chef when out of his way to make my request. The atmosphere wasn’t all that great to be honest, but I gave 5/5 for the extra care and effort.
