Everything was AMAZING! Thank You LA!
This is one of my favorite food places in Georgia! Nana's offers delicious food with usually acceptable service. I would recommend this wonderful food heaven for anyone who's a lover of chicken, waffles, and sweet relief.

This was my second attempt to try this restaurant on a Saturday morning. The first time they told us we would have a three hour wait, so we naturally decided to eat elsewhere. Luckily, this time we were able to be seated within 10 minutes or less of checking in with the hostess. Highly advise you to join the online waitlist. We got around 10:30 am this time.
It was busy inside the restaurant, it did take our server about 5 minutes to greet us after being seated and another 10 minutes for our ordered to be taken. If I had a complaint it would be that. Our service was excellent and the server did apologize for the wait time. He was nice and answered all the questions we had about the menu options.
The menu is pretty straightforward, we originally wanted the French toast thinking it was “French toast”, but upon speaking to the waiter we were informed it was an actual waffle so slightly misleading.
They have special waffles not listed on the menu,
We decided to try those and got the peach pecan waffle and the strawberry shortcake waffle.
They were both delicious and tasty. The
Peach pecan was out of this world! Real peaches, lots of pecans, and a drizzle that didn’t require additional syrup to be used.
The waffles were fluffy, and slightly crispy on the edges. The shortcake waffle had fresh strawberries and whipped cream and just as good.
Please add the those specials as a permanent item to the menu, because they are worth being included. This restaurant has mastered the technique to making great waffles.
We ordered chicken sausage as our side, it was good but a little overcooked but nothing to throw a fit about.
I believe it was the owner who stopped at our table and greeted us and asked us how the food was, I even noticed him picking up trash. Well kept establishment.
Overall I would definitely visit this restaurant and try other options that are available.
The tab was $64 for the meal and one OJ. Appears to be the going price everywhere you go in ATL. Nothing is “affordable anymore”.

Great place to get reliably delicious food.
Getting Seated
You can check in and request a spot to sit via yelp. It is not a guaranteed reservation but it helps to get you in quicker. They do allow for group reservations. They won’t seat you unless your whole party is present. We walked up without a reservation and were informed of a 20 min wait. We received our text about 35 mins later.
Atmosphere
The space is small but tables are far enough apart I didn’t feel too close to others. It was very cold and I had wished I had a sweater lol. This was in early November. It’s a cute place to sit and eat with friends but it’s not nice enough that I’d have an event there or celebrate. The atmosphere actually makes me think it would have been just as well to order out and enjoy somewhere else or at home.
Service
Servers were very friendly. I have no complaints there. They were attentive and followed up. The menu is digital and after you pay your ticket you have to leave. You can’t idol.
Food
Delicious! The food is really good. Both times I’ve come I was pleased. I tried the pecan French toast and the peach cobbler. The serving sizes were decent. Not large but not disrespectfully small. The waffle and French toast plates come with 3 sort of small chicken wings which are good. Got refillable coffee. I’ve not tried any alcoholic beverages.
Prices
For two people both times we spent about $60. Close to $80 after tips and all that
Overall great place for breakfast/brunch. The food is really good and the people are nice.
Parking: Parking space is shared with other businesses in a sort of shopping plaza. It’s tight but there’s plenty of parking in front of and around the building.

Don't waste your time. I ordered chicken wings and a red velvet waffle. The first waffle was old and flavorless. I could tell it was made earlier. The chicken wings were seasoned and hot. We sent back my husband's ice cold fries and my waffle. My second waffle was so hard I couldn't bite it. Our server Dalan was nice and understanding.

I’m sorry but this must be said Nana’s Chicken and Waffles has definitely fell off since they left Conyers and relocated to McDonough. This is my first time at the new location and it will definitely be my last. 1. The containers were all dirty and sticky. 2. The staff wasn’t responsive at all the wait to get just water was ridiculous. The food was lukewarm. 3. The fried green tomatoes were over seasoned and cut so thick I should’ve just asked for a whole tomato and WHY ON EARTH did they take away the pimento cheese. Last but not least the atmosphere is definitely not intimate nor giving Nana’s it’s giving Atlanta Airport to me.??

I come here all the time and the food is great, but yesterday I hate the fact our waiter stole from me I tried calling the establishment before I did this review but they seem to never answer the phone, I swiped my card for the total of $67 and some change while in store and also left the waiter a $10 CASH TIP instead of the credit card tip, later on yesterday after I left store my credit card was charged extra that evening i'm guessing after his shift he edit his tip and added in what he wanted so card ended up being charged $80 instead of $67 and I hate this a no cash establishment because now I don't trust eating here knowing a employee can just add a additional tip their self.... If it was a automatically gratuity that would be understandable but he actually put in a additional tip without consent when I left! Totally unacceptable

Wings were cold, and to/go service sucked. The unprovoked attitudes are the absolute worst. It felt like the young female employee was upset that was even there. I was picking up an order, that’s it. My suggestion: hire ppl with better attitudes that want to work & fry those wings to order. Cold wings are not as good. The older lady is really sweet btw.

We arrived at the restaurant it had to wait about 30 minutes to be sat even though we had a prior reservation. When we got into the establishment, we were then sat by the host and not greeted by a server for an additional 15 minutes. We then had to sit by a door and it was freezing cold as other guests came in and out. We ordered drinks and also hot chocolate. We had to ask for our drinks about two times before we were even brought water. We never received our hot chocolate. When the food came out, it was very cold and not edible. The only thing that was okay was my mom‘s banana fosters waffle. The server was not very attentive and had an attitude when we were to ask for anything or wanted something to be corrected. Very small and crowded. I don’t recommend.
