My family and I have been a fan of Pippins for over 30 years and the slaw and fried okra are our two favorite sides. Well about 3 weeks ago I called and ordered a family meal and the lady that took my order never stated they were OUT of PORK for the dinner. So I arrive and then get ask what I want to substitute the meat for… I chose smoked turkey. (Not a fan ) Then today I placed an order over the phone for a family meal with a large side of okra (for the grand baby) and told 20 min - I drive from McDonough to Conyers only to be told they don’t have Okra today. To top it off the slaw was NOT the original delicious slaw I have always gotten. It was chopped differently and the taste was just not good. Don’t change it if it ain’t broke… so disappointing the last two visits.

Would give them a five but the last few months they are always out of something! Including pork !! Glad they are doing that kind of business but is frustrating. Guess we will have start ordering before lunch to pick up our dinner!

The family meal was a joke. First they were out of 4 of the 8 or so sides, 2nd the side portions of fries and okra were smalls, enough for only 2 people. The 1 lb of pork was not filled to the top. An inch of meat was missing out of the tub. Not going back.

I ordered on the phone, very nice lady who took my order and let me know the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I came inside and she let me pay, drinks are self serve the food was good and the prices are decent. Will return again, Thank you!
Pulled pork, chicken salad, Brunswick stew, and fried okra was excellent. The 4 of us really enjoyed it.

Everyone was very nice. Just when you customer service is a dead art. You get GREAT SERVICE!! And OMG! The food was excellent... The okra was perfect. The ribs were awesome. Great job 👏 I will be back! If you are in the Conyers area give them a try you won't be disappointed.
