We stopped in yesterday for lunch. My mom lives close by and I’m usually under-impressed with the food options in Conyers so I took to TikTok to see if there’s any hidden gems & found Ms. Loretta’s Kitchen. I wasn’t disappointed. They gave us more food than what was on the menu description - which is always good. Ms. Loretta was exceptionally nice, she treated my daughter so well?the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc I didn’t love the sides (and I strive to give my genuine feedback), they weren’t bad at all, just not my favorite. The fish was fried to perfection and the wings were seasoned perfectly! Not overly salty as I saw someone else say. Oh, and let’s not forget the star of the show, the banana pudding, which she treated us too as well?soooo sweet!!!!! The banana pudding as my daughter said was a 10/10. I’m so extremely bias and picky when it comes to banana pudding but they didn’t miss with this. She said they don’t always have desserts, so I was happy to be in on a day that they were offered. I will say this in conclusion, this place was not packed at all. I’m not sure if that’s the norm or not as it was my first time but I would 100% recommend to give them a try! It’s a black owned establishment, right in our community, let’s support this Queen. One last thing, I saw some people on here (Google) saying the customer service was bad, that’s strange bc the customer service was exceptional for us.

Parking: Located in the middle of the shopping Mall across from Dunkin Donuts.

My 1st time at Ms. Loretta’s Kitchen!!!!!!Avaya was pleasant and professional, Ms. Loretta was in the the place and greeted us with a warm Southern Hospitality. She gave us history of the establishment 4 years strong!!! Not to mention the food is AMAZING!!!!! Hot, Fresh, and Delicious!!! It’s the best Soul Food in the Metro Area, hands down!!!!! They also have catering, weekly events and events spaces and monthly gatherings. Definitely a hidden gem. An absolutely must, I will drive from Villa Rica to Conyers to enjoy a good cooked meal!!

Horrible customer service. Walked in to pick up an order asked the name if this was reminiscent restaurant they stated no. I walked out & googled the restaurant & ms. Loretta kitchen reminiscent restaurant populated. Walked back in & someone goes oh they changed the name & the menu… so you mean to tell me no one behind the counter knew that when I originally asked??Probably why no one was in there to dine & eat. Customer service is everything & especially in this location!!!!So in response to the review reply,“I didn’t try to order anything”, that would be the customer that placed the order on Uber Eats. If you all are not affiliated with UE, how would I as driver even be able to see & accept an order?! You all received the order from your words & stated you were out of the requested items & whatever platform you all use for payments did not sync with UE…. So yea not my problem… get your business together then spin the block back!!

If you like your food season to the max this is the place for you.??♀️but not for me??♀️???? the food was too salty the baked chicken was seasoned to the max.. the green beans taste as if they've been soaking in salt overnight.. ?the candy yams were too sweet? and the sweet tea was not even drinkable? because it was too sweet... Also small menu and the service is horrible.
I was very confused as to why the food takes so long to prepare. I'm thinking the hot foods are already cooked (collard greens, mac and cheese, black eyed peas), and the only thing needing to be cooked is the fried fish. I also ordered meatloaf. Well, I waited close to an hour for my food. I did notice though the people sitting at tables were receiving royal treatment. I arrived before the sit ins and my order was placed before theirs. I told a co worker about my experience and she told me she waited 45 minutes. I'm just confused. It's like they had to catch the fish and kill the cow, then cook the food by a 150 year old lady by herself. I felt sorry for the customer after me but I dared not tell her about the awful wait time.

First time visiting and it was a togo order which was ordered before I arrived. I ordered baked chicken, collards and Mac n cheese. The young lady took my payment and returned with my change and then proceeded to say I’m sorry but we don’t have any baked, but we can have it ready for you in 20mins. So, we left and came back to a plate with fried chicken. I proceeded to say “this is fried not baked” and she said, “I thought you were ok with fried”. No ma’am but I will take because I will not be back. My mom ordered a fish plate as well with cornbread, but the cornbread was left out of the plate. She advised the young lady that it wasn’t in her plate and the young lady said, “that will be $1.07”, even though she had already paid for it. The food was not all that and the piece of cornbread is just that a small piece of nothing. Sorry to say, I will not be returning.

The food is pretty good! I was a bit disappointed at the quantities though. If I'm remembering correctly, the fried catfish dinner is $17 and I got one medium sized piece and one really small piece. I'm the one they say "eats like a bird" and can usually get 2 meals out of a order. The menu says 1 piece catfish. Most places I've been to usually serve 2 large pieces of fish. Then there was the "dining out surcharge of $2.55. I saw on another review, a "dining in" surcharge also. Would have appreciated being told that ahead of time.Again, the food is pretty good, but I was not full after paying over $20.
