I’ve been coming for a couple years now and love this establishment, until today! The chef was rushing and must not know we know our food; he didn’t cook our onions and carrots for our rice! We pay good money to have food made correctly…. It’s time to find a new restaurant for habachi I see’.. Not to mention he incorrectly counted and two of us had missing steaks so we had to wait for him to go get more after our rice and other items were cooked. It was cold and horrible

This place is really great and can always say great things about the service and the sushi masters. Me and my wife go here soo many times but one thing that gets me is that if you want yo make sure your servers get thier tips bring them cash. They bust thier butts running all around making sure everything is to a T! But if you end up paying with a card it will not go to the server it will go to the company. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TIP IN CASH. Yes, they have a gratuity fee which is roughly $15 for 2 people that are spending $100. But any additional tips with a card is not going to your server that hooked you up with a great time. Again I love this place and will still always come but this is the heads up before you go with good intentions.

We went to Tokyo for my son's birthday. We both wanted the sushi conveyor belt all you can eat. We went about 6:00 all the sushi seemed .like it was old. The items that were supposed to be hot were cold . We usually love Tokyo but tonight we were not impressed. Thinking it may be time to find a new sushi restaurant.

I been going to Tokyo for over 10 years this was by far the worst experience. I was celebrating my birthday and chose this old faithful restaurant. The chief messed up our order 2 times in one sitting. The first the chief ran out of rice and had to make some more, I had to wait for him to restock and cook the rice. The second thing was he gave all meat to someone else leaving me without. Both times we had to wait while others were served and already eating for our food to cook. I wonder if the care is not there because no matter the amount of people in your party gratuity is already included. The food is not the same, it used to be exceptional but now it’s just ok. I think this will be my last visit. I miss the old Tokyo!

Derik our hibachi chef was outstanding he took his time and gave us the best experience thanks again the wagyu beef was exceptional buttery and the marbling and tenderness were great the Don Julio shots completed my 3 plated dinner me and my daughter enjoyed everything 😋

They call it new Tokyo but we all want the old Tokyo back. Grew up going to the old location with family. New ownership ruined the restaurant from the food being rough to the atmosphere, the servers and employees no longer feel like friends. I take care of my servers at restaurants. Forced 18% gratuity no longer incentivizes the server to do their best yet alone act like they’re trying. We tried the revolving sushi tonight. Terrible selection, same rolls over and over. I had to get someone else to notify a sever that we were in the restaurant. Mind you there were a whopping total of 6 tables in the whole restaurant tonight with a significant number of staff passing by like we were invisible. In the end we paid 18% forced gratuity for our server to come to the table once for our waters. He made 10$ doing absolutely nothing. What was once a great restaurant in the old location is now a modernized lump of lard.
