Service and atmosphere were great. They have a full service bar with an Old Fashioned on the menu. A sign of a good bar is how they make this drink. They used regular maraschino cherries (instead of Amarena or Luxardo) and too much ice - which made it a bit watered down. Also, wasn’t given a choice on bourbon. For an appetizer, we got the fried green tomatoes and they were good, but a little greasy. For entree I got the fish sandwich and a side salad. The sandwich was pretty big and the sauce it came with was good. My wife got the steak with broccoli and cheese. Steak was cooked right and was decent. The broccoli was okay, however, I’m fairly sure the cheese on top is Velveeta. Overall, we had a decent time

Friendly greeting at the door and great table service. My salad arrived fast and the steak followed at an appropriate pace. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium. It was a tough cut of meat (I ordered the sirloin at the recommendation of the server) and I really had to chew and chew. It needed salt added. The restaurant had nice background music and the atmosphere was relaxing and not too dark, not too bright. The menu has a nice selection for everyone. Would I return? Yes.

The beef tips were great. The sweet potato fries would have been really good too, but I forgot to tell them no cinnamon sugar, so I didn't eat many. I like sweet potatoes plain. The amaretto sours were perfect! A couple that was seated next to me even shared one of their ribs with me when I showed interest. It was like a family atmosphere. It was fantastic! And the atmosphere was great. Everyone was friendly, especially Jessica, who was attentive and courteous also. I'll return here on my trip back south.

This place is way way too expensive for Cordele, Ga. When a basic 10-12 oz steak prices start at $35-$50, That’s highway robbery. For that price, it would have to be best mouth watering steak I’ve ever eaten. Then it would still be too expensive. Even a draft beer that elsewhere would be $4-$5, Here they are $6-$7 for a draft beer!? I’ll spend my money more wisely.

Had a fantastic lunch here today! Pic is my chicken salad sandwich with house made chips. Other dishes we ordered were fish basket and BLT-T and everyone had blueberry cobbler for dessert (so yummy ?). Everything was great! Waitress refilled drinks without us having to ask (a personal pet peeve). Will definitely be back!!

Only reason I stopped here was for the NFL Sunday Ticket to watch a football game as I was from out of town and was I formed they had all the football games. I drove 20 miles to this bar to watch a specific game on NFL Sunday Ticket....No one at the bar or manager place knew how to get it to work....quite frustrated! Only had a drink...didn't waste time there to find out if food or service was any good. I guess I can say service was bad?

We were just driving through on the way to Florida and decided to stop for some lunch. Food and service was excellent! Best Loaded potato soup I’ve ever had!
Steak was cooked perfectly. Shand was swamped with people as the bartender but shined like a diamond in a goats ass and kept the drinks coming. In town for work and the people talked to me like I knew them all my life, staff and customers.

We had a late lunch today, apparently arriving just after the noon rush. For several years now we have enjoyed coming here. The food was, as always, delicious. The decor is pleasant. The waitstaff on this particular trip was quite bad. We drive quite a distance to get here, and would like to enjoy a nice sit-down meal with table service, as we are used to, being senior citizens. We were seated rather quickly and then forgotten. Several servers made eye contact during the nine minutes we sat at our table. The servers were not busy, merely in attentive. Several times during our stay there was not a single staff member visible. Our server was very amateur and inattentive and served the wrong drinks. Training was certainly not evident in her actions. We might be back...but certainly will not bring guests or reccommend sixteen east to anyone in Americus. Colonel Jon D. Marsh
