It's a small place with 2 means and a couple sides like collard greens fish and friend chicken is what I got It was really good but it seemed like everyone was staring ate bc we were the only whilte family in the place But very good home cooked friend chicken and catchfish. They also had handmade onion rings but they weren't that great. Everything else was great. It took prob 5 mins to get our drinks after we had all started eating but it was okay.

Food was really straight forward and delicious. I got fried chicken, collard greens, and black eye peas with corn bread. They offered limited options that are done really good. I went for lunch and the price was reasonable for the amount of good food.
Service was ok, it was cafeteria style with somebody serving portions based on what you want.
Atmosphere needs work, but I was there to eat lunch and I got a good lunch. The place needs to be updated. Furniture does not really match. Layout is a bit dated and strange. Curb appeal needs some cleanup and work.

Great food Sunday buffet lots of good home cooked food. Chicken fried and baked,ham,pork ribs,salad hoe cakes rolls great Mac and cheese.Restaurant itself a little dated . People and help very friendly. Can't go wrong. Under 20 dollars done in to go pay be weight.lots of take out going on.

If you enjoy what we Southerners call down home cooking, you will enjoy BJ's. The food is not heavily seasoned like most country dishes, but still tasty. It is a favorite for the locals in Cordele, particularly on Sundays. It is a buffet style restaurant.
