If you like processed hamburger, this is your place. The meat was bland, did not taste like hamburger ( tasted like soy cardboard). The french fries were tasteless even with salt. Will not return to Cordele, Ga. Dairy Queen. The drive thru employee was 👌super. Polite & friendly.

We have been to this location several times. We have always had good service until our most recent trip. It was 8:55 pm and the restaurant says it closes at 9:30 pm. I pulled into the drive through to place my order. I was greeted and asked what I would like to order. Literally 2 seconds later I was told that "were closed" and got laughed at and they shut off the lights. I don't think that is a very hospitable and down right rude. I will never come back to this DQ again. There was patrons inside the store as well so it didn't look closed to me.

My wife, two children under the age of 4, my dog, and I, were involved in an accident just in front of the Dairy Queen there in Cordele, GA just off the interstate on Sunday, 12/15:2024z
Kate, an employee of the Dairy Queen, and her supervisor, asked if we were okay and graciously allowed us to sit in the lobby for almost 2 hours while we waited for our ride to come and get us. We had all of our luggage, two rambunctious children, and a small dog ( under 10lbs) and they allowed us to come in and get out of the cold, and calm down from the incident.
I just wanted to pass my thanks on to them and the others that were working that day. What an awesome establishment and team!

Dairy Queen has the best cheese burgers compared to other chains. All the food I purchased from this store has been fresh and hot. I highly recommend you give them a try if you're ever in South Georgia.

Food was ready in 5-10 minutes, and it tasted great. Felt sad for the workers, as there were like only 4 teens making stuff for a super long line of cars, and still getting food out at a reasonable time. These workers should be making at least $15 an hour.
