Great service, good food, quaint tucked away slot. Shrimp and grits very good as well as the fried crab claws. Would go back again.

I went there a few years ago after my son's tennis tournament. Absolutely fell in love with EVERYTHING about it. Added it to my list of where to take out of town guests when they visit. Went last night to celebrate my wife's b-d. There was a chalkboard outside saying they were fully booked for that night and the next. We had reservations, but there were PLENTY of open tables available. Reservation for 7, got our entrees of mediocre (at best) food at 8. It was sooo disappointing. Needless to say, Daphne's has been removed from the list.

Wonderful dining experience at Daphne Lodge. We got our favorite table by the window. Highly recommend! Food and service were top notch!

We visited Daphne Lodge on 2/21/25 approximately 7:15-9:15 p.m. Our waitress Jenna (not sure if I spelled her name right), was wonderful!! There were 12 at our table. Three of us were on our ticket. We each had the $24 catfish meal, two waters and one coke. We paid $102 which included the 20% tip they added to the receipt. The catfish was fried and seasoned perfect to my taste.

Great local restaurant on Cordele, GA, which is a unique dining experience. Great menu of local and Southern delicacies, great value, and warm, friendly service.

I am a 50 year patron. This was my second visit since ownership changed. The food was lukewarm with uninspiring seasoning. I did eat my meal and didn't complain. In retrospect I should have said something. For the price I will think twice about patronizing Daphne again.

Wow. I've lived for decades in Miami and Atlanta, and this little inconspicuous place on 280 between Cordele and Americus is one of the most unique dining experiences I've ever had. It was almost like when you ask your great aunt if she's got any liquor around, and she breaks out a bottle of MacCallan 25 like it's no big deal: nonchalantly premium in a comfortable place.

The food was top notch period. I haven't seen a cut of meat that thick and beautiful for under $50 ($42 and well worth it) since the 90s.

Good service is attentive without being disruptive, friendly but not contrived, and they hit it right in the mark. Effervescent minus the kind of ostentation I've usually seen with that level of food and ambiance.

Accomplishing homey atmosphere in fine dining is no easy feat, but Daphne Lodge does it and I'm not even sure how. It's more about a feel than a look, and it's there.

Highly recommend. Worth taking a detour off 75, but check the hours. A place like this isn't open all day every day, and it shouldn't be, because it's special.
