This was one of my favorite smoke houses I've ever been to. My family and I live in Orlando. Everytime we were on a road trip on I-75 we planned our stops around a meal at Smokies. We will miss it very much. Oh, and the pecan pie was the very best!
Stopped on our way through from Florida to Wisconsin and we just found the best bbq joint ever! Everything was fantastic. The ribs fell off the bone. The brisket was amazing. Fried pickles as a side? Perfection!!! The fried pie was out of this world. We will be back next year.
We ran over to get takeout about an hour before closing because we were late getting to the RV stop across the street. Super convenient location, very personable service, spot on order accuracy. Brisket, chopped pork and chicken tenders were all good, but the sides stole the show - we particularly liked the slaw (we cannot figure out the secret ingredient but it’s delish), potato salad and perfectly crispy tater tots. Would very happily eat here again!
