My husband and I love treating ourselves to lunch at Farmhouse Pound Cakes every month or so. The sandwiches are so wonderful -- every element is carefully composed. The breads are freshly made and pressed to crispy perfection. They also seem to roast the turkey and ham in house. I love the turkey with fig jam and the caprese on homemade focaccia. We had the Ploughman's Lunch today and tried the hot pimento cheese dip as well. Stellar on all counts. Don't forget...
Perfect lunch or coffee break spot! The drip coffee was bold and delicious. We got the turkey sandwich, grilled cheese, and summer salad. All were delicious and the breads used were so yummy! Before leaving we obviously got some pound cake and other baked goods. My only negative is the chocolate chip cookies are a bit different, not my favorite version of a chocolate chip cookie. But I would highly recommend for a great local lunch and bonus that the whole shop smells amaaazing!
Best granola EVER! I am a granola lover and have tried natural brands from many places, but this is the cream of the crop!! It's perfectly crispy, complimentary ingredients and just the right amount of sweetness so no need to add any honey with my yogurt. Definitely worth five stars. I can't wait to order some poundcake!
