Took the fam out for dessert after dinner per usual at Scoops, when we entered the store we noticed a little congestion at the front. Come to find out, another customer had thrown up all over their table, booth and floor. The male Scoops employee (Tall brunette) saved the day and cleaned it all up him self. I’m sure he was more than grossed out but he didn’t display that at all. He was so kind to the lady as well. Scoops has an amazing team of kids working for them… but that boy needs a raise ASAP!! ?

Whether it's a hot or cold day in Covington ice cream at Scoops is a must. When you walk inside you feel like you're in an ice cream shop. There is limited seating inside but they also have chairs you can sit in outside. On the way to order your ice cream they have candy and miscellaneous items for sale. The service is always quick and friendly. My go to order is Damon's Delight. I love banana dessert so this milkshake is perfect! But there is so much more to order and try. They have loads of different flavored ice cream which you can have in a milkshake, cone or cup. While I love my milkshake my kids always enjoy their ice cream in a cone or cup. You can't go wrong no matter what you order and I always look forward to my next visit.

If TVD also brought you to Covington like me, make sure you stop by Scoops after dining at Mystic Grill. They’re seriously the cutest candy shop I’ve been in.I’m not a huge sweet tooth but even I had to hold back. Their chocolates look amazing and their ice cream is delicious. It’s worth planning some extra time just to stop in and see.
Ice cream was great and there’s tons of flavors to choose from. The line moved fast and it was a good amount of ice cream for the price!

Is possible for roaches to find their way to ice cream?!Came recently and got an ice cream order which went fine. But when got to the cashier to check out there was a little roach chilling on the corner of my eye in some candy I guess they sell in front of the registry. I mentioned it to the person checking me out. And they just looked at me then looked at the roach and just said “ohhh no”!!! Pretty resistant to coming back because if you are seeing one little roach the family is probably in the back waiting to make their grand entrance. Let’s please make sure we are keeping a clean environment/atmosphere especially where people eat/snack.

We visited right after opening on Saturday 1/13/24, my friend and I purchased over $60 worth of candy but the young girl working behind the counter rolled her eyes when we answered “no” to her question of whether we were getting ice cream or not. I get this is likely her first job but it was unnecessary- we had our hands full of candy and little toys so it’s clear we were there to spend money. ?
