Made a reservation specifically for hibachi because we wanted to celebrate a special birthday. Came in and were seated no problem. Found it odd that many hibachi tables were already seated but no chef at those the tables. After 25 minutes of not being asked whether or not we wanted drinks or not knowing if there were available chefs and how long it would take for one to become available we left. Used to be great but sadly has gone downhill.

This place is awesome! It was my second time coming here. Skylar, Brice and the team really made me feel welcomed here. I believe I found my new favorite go to in the future!

Enjoyed. Got take out busy Friday night no wait. Perfect. Great staff. Even though it was packed with a lot of people waiting for hibachi tables. Easy for to go sushi pickup. Enjoyed the Hollywood roll and the Tuna tartare appetizer tower. Both were fresh and tasty. I’d like to see something to complete the dish to punch it up a notch with the Tuna tartare like with fresh made wonton chips to go with the appetizer or crostini. Plain as is. Very lacking served as is. Some of my favorite Tuna tartare dishes are with wonton chips made fresh. A very simple thing to do even at home.

My family loves Ichiban! We have made this restaurant our go-to for special occasions - birthdays, celebrations, holidays. Honestly, it’s great for any occasion. We typically enjoy the Hibachi, but we’ve also sat inside the dining room and tried other items off of their regular menu. The sushi is always fresh. My daughter & I love to split the Spicy Mega Tuna Roll.I’d like to give a special shout out to Edo - he’s incredible. The best Hibachi Chef I’ve ever dined with. He makes excellent food, is very attentive, and also has the best sense of humor. He knows how to entertain the crowd and makes your visit feel special. He’s a genuine dude & could have his own stand-up comedy special. He connects with my kids - this is their favorite restaurant.I’d also like to give kudos to Miranda. She has been our server several times. She’s professional, attentive and sweet. She’s an asset to the business. The Hibachi dinner is a nice value when you consider how much food you get. Enough to eat at the table, and take home a full serving for your meal tomorrow. We appreciate the great service, food & atmosphere. Check this place out if you haven’t already! Don’t forget to request Edo…

Food was good but it took a while for my waitress to even get to me. When I paid + tip I said it was going to be in cash, sees me put it in the booklet than proceeds to check the amount in front of me. I thought she was going to put it in her system or something but she didn’t. I found that quite odd… have never experienced that before.

It was 20 minutes before someone even looked at us. (And no it was NOT busy). Then they bring out half of our order and tell us the other half is coming later.Very disorganized totally bad management. The manager is only concerned with making drinks behind the bar and getting drinks out fast as possible. (high mark up item). I get it BUT you need to help other customers also. It's frustrating when you get half of your food then the other half 6 minutes later. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and friendly but they got our order wrong twice. The second time I was like whatever I'm just eating this so I can move on with my night.

The food was terrible. Everything was cold with the exception of the fried rice. The steak was cooked to well done even though I ordered medium rare. Very terrible experience especially with the amount of money I spent. Will not order from there again.

Great place to enjoy some delicious hibachi style food and watch the cook put on a fun show. Had the filet mignon, shrimp and scallops. All were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Will definitely visit here again.

My family and I have been coming back to Ichiban ever since we met Edo, the hibachi chef. Edo is a phenomenal cook, extremely hilarious, and made our experience so enjoyable that we request him each visit. We have already shared multiple birthday celebrations with Edo at Ichiban, and I plan to come back to see him for my birthday dinner. If you plan to stop by Ichiban, make sure you call and request Edo for your next visit!

Always great food and service. Very friendly management. We really enjoy dining here. Best Japanese restaurant in Fayetteville County by a long shot.

My wife and I went this evening and had the most refreshing 5 star time. We chose the dining room as we didn't want to wait for a hibachi table. We had a wonderful sever named Luna who was so polite and attentive. My wife and I both had hibachi - she had the scallops and I had filet, shrimp and scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly from the vegetables to the fried rice neither was over cooked - the scallops and shrimp were amazingly tender and I got the filet a perfect rare as ordered. My wife had a delightful and reasonably priced Chardonnay and I sampled a beer I had never seen before and a very unique and wonderful bourbon that I had never had before (which is really had to do since I am a huge bourbon/whiskey connoisseur). The ambience was relaxed in the dining room and we were sometimes distracted by the hibachi tables and the chefs and crowd being entertained but only so much as to laugh and go back to our conversations. The portions were nice - we had a small to go box between the two of us. And I was pleased with the value as we had two full meals with soup, salad, entree and drinks including alcohol for right around $100 (not including tip). We had avoided this pace due to higher reviews in the area but I must say that was a bad decision. We both agree we can't wait to go back to this lovely little gem.
