Atmosphere and food not good at all , felt lonely in there.

Not good at all…hibachi chicken was over cooked and dry, vegetables little burnt, and sashimi and sushi and rolls were not good and didn’t seem as freshEspecially didn’t like how they bagged the sushi with the hot hibachi food making the sushi/sashimi warmWill not be back

They don’t even deserve a one star review. We went yesterday on Christmas Eve to celebrate after church since my young kids have never been to hibachi and I thought it would be a great first experience. Our family lives out of town so we decided to have dinner there. They sat us in this back room and you could tell the temp difference right as soon as you walked in and they sat us. They said they just fixed the heat and it should be working. It will warm up when they heat up the grill. Other families were complaining also but they kept telling them the same thing. Once they started cooking the fan for the grill was blowing cold air right on my 3 yr old daughter who was already freezing. She started shaking, her cheeks and nose started turning red and her hands were ice cold. This is unacceptable for a restaurant. My husband had to go outside to get the kids coats. We should of left right then. The waitress was sweet and we know it wasn’t her fault. She kept apologizing. The manager had the nerve to come over and asked if she wanted some warm milk?? Are you serious?? Fix the problem or don’t put people back there. I would of been more than happy to wait longer for a different table inside. When it was warmer outside that’s a huge problem. We will never be back to any Kani house ever again. Thank you for ruining my kids first hibachi experience!

Took my son for his birthday along with several others. Service was horrible. Never received appetizers, vegetables were severed after the meal. The experience was horrible. I went to restroom and trash was overflowing and hadn't been cleaned . I will never visit this location again.

Great food and service. The shrimp hibachi was fabulous!

Like their sushi, I don't recommend the kani fried rice. To drive for my taste.

Went for dinner on 12/27/21 - our 2nd visit. This place has gone downhill. Greeter at sign in desk did not even stand up straight to greet us. There were 2 girls at the desk & none of them displayed proper etiquette. They would let the phone ring & ring. Ladies bathroom was a mess. Whole place was not very neat or clean. The one server we saw was trying hard to keep up. Not good.

Got there with no reservation on a Friday night around 6 with little wait. Chef was friendly but not overly dramatic. Food was fresh and great taste. Good portions and left full. Staff was efficient and never waited for anything. Will be back.

Kani House is my favorite sushi spot in Ga. I’ve visited 3 of the 5 locations over the years. I had no idea they delivered! This batch came from the Cumming location. I got the Popeye roll, the Green Goddess roll and the sweet potato roll. It came well packaged and was so fresh. I can’t wait to visit them again really soon. Best sushi EVER!
