The place was clean. However, employees don't acknowledge you except to call out the order number. Burger was pretty bland and dry, but the fries with cheese were good. All in all, it is good for a quick bite, but if you're like I was and feeling nostalgic for how Steak and Shake used to be, you may end up disappointed
I love Steak and Shake! It's so reminiscent. They are about the only place open after 9:00pm on a Sunday! I LOVE that their fries are cooked in beef tallow! When I go to Steak and Shake I always enjoy my meal. I should have taken a picture of my SHAKE, it was DELICIOUS!
I just got a milk shake but it was divine. The only problem I had was trying to use the kiosk and there is no greeting, offers to help or warm friendly service. You just put in your order, pay, find a table and wait for your name to be called. First time I've been in years so that was different. I plan to go back and at least try the food but for now the shake was great!
