I feel like Bear Necessities Cafe is a little bit of a hidden gem in Dahlonega. Cool, laid-back vibe with pretty good coffee (they serve Break Coffee Roasters out of Duluth) and plenty of pastry options to choose from, which is awesome. Seasonal drinks are always fun, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.
Normally I'd start with the delicious roast beef sandwich or the tuna salad my wife had with a huge portion of mozzarella but I won't. Cute restaurant and friendly staff but food is expensive for what you get. Bagel was microwaved, and the pastry that looked good was rubbery and had no taste. Disappointed in food.
