I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere and wait staff. The food was okay. Not traditional New Orleans. The crab cake was thin and the shrimp dish tasted like tomato sauce vs a Cajun sauce.

I hate to leave a bad review, but as the consumer please do yourself a favor and go to Spirits. Food was gross.Gumbo was too spicy and was basically jambalaya..Oil was old and our oyster poboy had 7 oysters on it,fries were burnt tasting. My lavender mule taste like black licorice.Shrimp and grits were awful..We had a quick trip and it was overpriced and I will never go back again .Server was amazing, sweet tea was good.

Very disappointing, walked in at 6:15pm says closed at 8pm. Was told they were closed due to hosting a "Science Talk" event. There's not many option in this town so eat dinner before you arrive here.

Drinks are strong but the hurricane isn’t a hurricane. Don’t get the gumbo or red beans and rice if you like authentic New Orleans food. The beignets are super cakey thick not thin. My family is creole and we’re from NO but this is not an extension of that. We didn’t finish any food. The Gouda grits are good but that’s about it.

I'm from New Orleans so we decided to give this place a try. We tried a variety of dishes. There was not one we didn't like. One thing I will say, the beignets are not like New Orleans ones. They're delicious but not like the real ones from New Orleans. We ate there for brunch. We will definitely be back for dinner.

We stopped in on a Friday evening and waited about 15 minutes for a table for 2. We started off with the crawfish dip which was delicious, especially with the pita-style chips. The gumbo and red beans & rice were totally fantastic! The mahi tacos were very good as well. We were visiting from out of state and will stop by this restaurant every time we're in Dahlonega. Fantastic Cajun food, highly recommend!
