I have been a patron of Missy's cafe ever since we moved to Dahlonega. I am also a Realtor and recently placed an order to serve at my open house. What a hit! I served her sweet southern biscuits, greek spanakopita, and mini quiches. Needless to say, she will certainly be my goto for my catering needs!

The food was great, Missy was responsive to our requests (several people in my family are gluten free and she made sure the food was safe for us to eat) and very friendly. Missy Chastain catered our son's rehearsal dinner and it was perfect in every way! The food could not have been more delicious; she is quite a chef and such a sweet and professional person as well. I had achicken salad on a croissant with a chickpea salad side and mini muffin were delicious and inexpensive. Best deal in town. The proprietor, Missy, is a friendly, cheerful person full of so much energy. This is a true sidewalk cafe across from the University of North Georgia. There is no indoor seating, just a few tables, chairs, and umbrellas outside. If the weather is warm enough, the cafe is open. It is dog friendly with a water bowl, if you want to stop there while walking your dog. As the name implies, it is a catering service. This small, excellent cafe is a good promotion for it.

My Husband said, “Anyone with Southern mention in their business name must know how to make green beans.” And he was right! Missy fixed green beans, rosemary potatoes, 2 different salads, sweet corn, chicken pot pies, all kinds of bread and fruit w yogurt! It was perfectly packaged and she nailed the per person portion. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! She put our dinner in the oven while we continued to set up the house that we rented. Missy is genuine and friendly! Chastain Southern Catering did a phenomenal job with the catering for my daughter's wedding this past weekend at Cavender Creek Vineyards in Dahlonega, GA. Everything provided was delicious! Everyone was raving about food! Things were hot and cold as appropriate, beautifully displayed, and absolutely everything and more than we could have ever imagined. While recently spending time in a vacation rental, we tried the breaktfast for two delivery service. It's was just amazing...delivered hot, right on time, to our door, in a lovely basket. The food items were scrumptious ! And the presentation adorable! Missy herself delivered the food, and was an absolute pleasure to meet. The next day we went back to the actual cafe, which is absolutely charming. After many visits to Dahlonega, how lovely to find a new breakfast experience, and to meet the owner as well.
