We came here during the Holidays and had ice cream here in the midst of wandering around downtown Dahlonega. The location is right off the square, you can see the main building from inside. The decor is old vintage feeling, which adds to the experience. There is some bar seating along with a handful of indoor tables. There was a short line that was not very organized when we were there. They gave samples and we ended up getting a couple of cones. They gave us cups for them as well to prevent a mess in case it spilled. You pay at the front after getting your ice cream and we sat indoors. The ice cream selection was good, but the ice cream itself was nothing special. The atmosphere more than makes up for this though.

Service? Top notch. Ambiance? Amazing. The historical aspect of the building and the original features? I'm here for it. But the ice cream is Blue Bell. We asked the girl who checked us out. That's a huge downer for us, as we can get Blue Bell from the grocery store. I wish more ice cream places were more authentic and wouldn't go the easy route by buying the national brands. That was a huge letdown.

This is an adorable ice cream shop with super friendly staff and an ample menu. We actually just wanted coffee (they have iced nitro) and they delivered it quickly, followed up to make sure we liked it, and I got to watch them make various salads (e.g., egg). So cute! Nice shop with great atmosphere--worth stopping in if you're in the area.

I found a new flavor I like. I asked what the favorite was and was suggested oatmeal cream pie. It was great on the waffle cone. A+ tasty treat.
Great service and excellent food. The 3 young ladies working were fast, efficient and our orders were perfect.Vegetarian options: They made a BLT veggie without batting an eye. Veggies were so fresh and tasty

Stopped in for dessert after dinner and the nicest friendliest young lady waited on us and it was a breath of fresh air seeing someone her age so friendly welcoming us with a smile . This is the reason for me reviewing Connies . After having a horrible experience at a unnamed Pizza Place by Wal Mart with the most unfriendly , unhelpful motley crew this was a breath of fresh air , Kudos to this young lady ! The Ice Cream was good too .

Cute place and one of the only places open to offer food on a Tuesday. Young ladies behind the counter were upbeat, kind and positive. We had the Rueben and a turkey panini which were presented very nicely and tasted delish.
