I don't know why this place isn't packed out!! The BBQ was GREAT! Pulled pork and brisket that is. Didn't try the turkey but it's next on the list. The Brunswick stew was amazing,(made the way it's supposed to be made😉) good mac&cheese and fries. Our little waiter was attentive and accommodating. Food didn't take long to arrive and the place was clean. What else can you ask for?! We're adding this to our rotation

Staff was friendly- they were out of a lot of things on a Sunday afternoon. There were a million flies swarming us the whole time we were eating inside. The AC wasn’t working properly so it was pretty miserable. Pulled pork was overcooked and tasted burnt . Coleslaw was just ok. Food did not impress- we won’t go back.

Really the best bbq

By the time we arrived, most of the food was already gone for the day. The meat was very tender, and the piggy melt was really good, but it was cooked without very much seasoning and obviously with gas and not wood. Lots of stems in the collards, and they needed seasoning as well. The hot dogs are large and flavorful. The tea is very good. The hamburgers look good. The Brunswick stew is the best I've ever had, and I don't like Brunswick stew. Overall, it was a good place to eat with children. I recommend the piggy melt, but I think they can improve it with real Cheddar and not American cheese.

Very good bbq! Service was excellent! Haylee went above and beyond to make sure we can find a seat, arranged a large table for our family and even helped celebrate my daughter’s birthday! She has great energy and very hospitable!! A real gem!

We stopped for dinner here after a long day of hiking. The restaurant was warm, clean, and the staff attentive. The meat was good, but the best part of this restaurant was actually the side dishes. The Brunswick stew, okra, and banana pudding were a must have. Honestly, if I returned, I would just make a meal of these. Be sure to try them.

I've been a BBQ chef in Alabama for about 10 years, this is top-tier BBQ joint. The Pig Melt is inspired. The Mac and Cheese is amazingly gooey. Divine beans and incredible sauce. Please don't pass this establishment up. The food here was better than the Surf n Turf I had elsewhere in town.

Disappointed today with our meal. Place was not crowded and we were able to order quickly. However they were out of several main items along with their drink machine not working. Limited to slim choices. once we received our food, it just kept getting worse. It was cold except for the inside of the buns that were heated and also burned. Tops of buns were cold and falling apart as if the bread was old. Barbecue was cold and mostly fat. Each bite was filled with more fat than meat. French fries were cold and dried. Maybe we got about 1/4 cup of pieces of fries. This place has been a reputable place to enjoy. However today they did not stand up to their reputation.

I've only come here during the fall/winter times with my brother because Dahlonega is great with the festivals and it's a far drive. The first few times going here were great and fast. But this time it isn't. My brother and I waited more than 45 minutes to get our food. We've seen a lot of families come and go and we're still waiting. No waitress came to check on us. Does it really take more than 45 minutes to make a 2 Pig Melt sandwiches?? We also got here before the lunch rush too. Update: The waitress gave our food to another couple without looking at the ticket. The waitress offered banana pudding.
