I have frequented this location a handful of times in the last decade, and I have NEVER had service this bad or felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. We had a group of 11 people (3 of which are small children) waiting for 45 minutes to get seated. We happily obliged and had no problem waiting as it was during the lunch rush. 30 minutes pass and our host comes out offering a table outside. We did not prefer this so we said we would wait for an inside table. The host then told us we would have to be split up which had not been mentioned from the beginning. Instead of setting it up to where we could sit together inside, they started seating people after us in the waitlist AND ALSO LATER SEATED A GROUP OF 9 ADULTS INSIDE. Then the host must have said something to our waitress because she was less than enthusiastic — stopping and talking to other tables and barely assisting us. Then, to top it off, I paid $10 for a hamburger that was as small as a toddlers hand! The fries were undercooked as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Alycia Jean was my server. I asked for the 10oz sirloin and got a 12oz ribeye, 3/4 of the ribeye was fat. When the server was confronted for it she apologized and just walked off.

This is a great little restaurant and bar. Very friendly staff and awesome food. The fried mushrooms, potatoe skins and wings are some of my favs!
Stopped here for lunch as we wait to pick up our RV Trailer from Camp Oaks RV. Waitress was Johnny on the spot when we sat down. I had the Rooster Dog with Sauerkraut and Chili, comes with Fries. Chili was good, dog was good could use a smaller bun to put it on. Also the sauerkraut comes in a plastic serving container and it is cold. You have to take two bites to get all the ingredients to meld together. Smaller bun and it would all come together. My wife had the grilled chicken strip salad and enjoyed it was enough for two people. Nice place overall plenty of TV's for watching sporting events.

My husband and I drove from Duluth for the third visit. Always have a fun and enjoyable visit.At least 15 or more mobile radio operators enjoy the plethora of menu choices.The Roosters staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and food arrives in a timely manner.My favorite are the grilled w/or without barbecued Hen (chicken) Fingers with Onion rings and a (huge) side salad plus an endless glass of sweet southern tea.My husband enjoys the soup and sandwiches or grilled chicken salad. Barbecue is also a good choice.Someone always gets the Nachos and dip.So many choices of good foodSuper easy ,layed back and fun gathering place. Friendly staff.Walls full of nostalgic history of the area and objects associated with a farm the mountains.Mixed with a casual sports themed bar area and 3 large screen TVS .Plus a nice outdoor Patio dining areaBob Appetite!!!!!Worth the drive. Plan a day trip and check out the area.Parking: Close Handicap parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available, table access and large restroom . Great Stereo system in restroom. Who knew ??!!!!!!Check it out.
