I met my wife here back in 2014. I still miss the nachos with sauce and the Coors beer we had here. Love my wife!
Been going there for years. Always great food and service.

From the first step inside Shenanigans, you know you’re someplace special. Tucked just off the historic Dahlonega Square, this pub nails that warm, lively atmosphere—wood tones, cozy tables, a full bar, and just enough Irish flair to feel authentic without tipping into cliché. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient; they make you feel seen even when the place is buzzing.
The menu is solid across the board. Favorites like fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, bangers & mash, and beef stew deliver—comforting, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. If you’re in the mood for something different, the burgers and onion rings are nothing to sneeze at—they’ve got folks raving about them. Vegetarian guests seem well-catered for too, which is always appreciated.
Extras make Shenanigans stand out: the dog-friendly patio, live music on weekends, trivia nights, and even Sunday brunch give it character and make it more than just a place to eat. The vibe is energetic but comfortable—not overly formal, yet it doesn’t feel sloppy either. I highly recommend!

I originally ordered takeout, but Ashley kindly let me enjoy my meal at the bar. She was absolutely awesome—friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented. Later in the evening, the cook came out, and I had the chance to thank him personally for preparing such an excellent burger. The service all around was outstanding. Ashley is truly an asset to the team, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Awesome food no doubt. We had Irish nachos, Irish stew, Norahs Nibblers, kids noodles. Everything was so good. There was some seating confusion and several parties were confused about what was going on. There was also a mysterious $12 charge on the final bill that we questioned and was removed. Neither of the negatives would stop us from returning.

First thing I noticed when I walked into the main restaurant was the smell. I think the place could use a good cleaning. We ate out on the screened veranda.
