Took a day trip up to Dahlonega recently and while walking around, I started to crave some tea. To my surprise, there was a Spice & Tea Exchange just a few shops down from where I was standing! This little tea shop is incredible! It feels like you stepped back in time with the creaky hardwood floors and the rows and rows of glass jars filled with teas, herbs, and spices. My kind of place. You can purchase their proprietary spice blends, seasonings, and rubs as well as their loose-leaf teas and organic teas. They have 85 handcrafted seasonings that are hand-mixed in store daily. They also offer flavored sugars, sea salts, and other lines including infused honeys and artisan extra virgin olive oils. They seriously have it all, so it's a great gift shop if you're looking to buy something special for a loved one. They also offer fresh-brewed tea made to order, and let you choose any of their loose-leafs available in house. I think that's so cool to have the ability to pick your tea on the spot and have it made just for you. I chose the Super Citrus Mint Herbal Tea over ice with NO sugar or sweetener (I like it as natural as possible), and it was exactly what I was looking for. Incredibly refreshing and also great immune support. Excited to come back for more spices and tea!

If you're looking for artisan made spices, teas, seasonings; This is the place to go! I was amazed with how much they offered- next time I'll come with something in mind to hone in on what i'm looking for. The ladies up front were super kind and walked with me to give me recommendations on teas/ flavor profiles I was looking for.Everything smelled wonderful and you can purchase little packets of any of the spices and herbs in the shop. At the back of the shop you can order a drink to make. We ordered an Iced Orange Blossom tea and it was so good & refreshing. Friendly staff, clean establishment & high quality products.

First off, this place smells so good. It’s all the spices and teas in the shop mixed together. I DEFINITELY was not expecting to find Chinese tea in Dahlonega but wow! The coconut oolong was so refreshing! Often times when tea is mixed with some other flavour, I can barely taste it but this had a distinct coconut flavour AND a distinct oolong flavour. Amazing!

Their earl grey creme is soooo good! Loved the selections. A little high priced, but seems mostly worth it

Incredibly fun & soothing shop. I could've been in there for an hour easily if I was by myself instead of with a group of ladies exploring the square. There must've been a minimum of 20 smoked salts to choose from: I got alderwood smoked, applewood smoked, and bacon smoked salt for family members. I one-stop Christmas shopped in there, which was glorious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even offering to make up another applewood smoked salt grinder if needed...since I bought 5 or 6. Next time I'm out that way, I'll definitely stop back in. I'll also make a point to go into the jerky store right next store.
