5-STAR Dining at 3-STAR prices! Phenomenal place to dine. Great ambiance, exquisite food, excellent views and a professional and courteous staff. Highly recommended! As a self-proclaimed food snob, one of my top 5 places of all time. An underrated gem for sure.
We’ve eaten dinner at White Oaks Bistro twice in the past 3 months. So glad we found this spot. Interesting and varied menu that is a bit more upscale than most in the area. All of our salads and dishes have been superb. The wine list includes quality wines, and owner and staff are friendly and attentive. Give it a try.

Our group of 8 was really looking forward to our Valentine's dinner (on 2/15). We booked several weeks in advance and knew it was going to be a special buffet at $65 per person. I wish I could say it was outstanding and can't speak to their normal dinner service, but the buffet and the service did not live up to our expectations. We were seated almost immediately, but our table was not ready. The table was not set when we sat down. There was no silverware or napkins, no glasses. The waitress did come up after we'd been seated for a few minutes with water and glasses. For a buffet requiring us to get up and go get our food, 4 of our party had to move each time someone wanted to get up to get food as we were seated in a corner with a wall behind us.The food at the buffet was ok but not hot and not presented in an appealing way. There were multiple options including salmon, chicken (very dry) and beef tenderloin (this was tasty). Silverware and napkins were brought after we had already sat back down from getting our food. The desserts were strawberry shortcake (very dry, very little strawberries and didn't seem fresh) and chocolate cake. Overall, it was average. It had potential though and if a few things had been done better I would have given it a higher rating. Would still be worth trying on a normal night when they're not doing a buffet.

I was searching for a nice restaurant to celebrate both Valentine's and my wife's 75th birthday. I chose the White Oaks Bistro based upon the many fine reviews. The restaurant did not disappoint.
It was buffet night and we were treated to a wide variety of specially-prepared dishes. The salmon and tenderloin were a delight to savor. The owner helped us with a great selection of wine. Tiramisu was well-received. The chocolate cake needed some work.
We have placed the White Oaks Bistro on our must-come-back list. Had the sky been clear rather that foggy and wet, it would have been the icing on the cake. Thanks, Bob. Keep up the good work!

Just perfect! The women in my family (8 of us) all went for my daughter’s 5th birthday, and we had a blast. It’s a beautiful restaurant with even better views! We were greeted at the door, and had absolutely wonderful service the whole afternoon! They went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special! The food was absolutely wonderful! My mom ordered the shrimp, I had the chicken stack, we also ordered some of the flatbreads, salads and extra sides. The brussel sprouts and waffle fries are phenomenal! Everything was delicious! I cannot wait to go back with my husband! The owner stopped by our table, so kind and charming. I cannot say enough good things about this hidden gem!
Kid-friendliness: This is obviously a fine dining restaurant, but they offer a few kid friendly options (pizza is what they ordered) and were very welcoming to my daughter and niece (5 & 9). We went at lunch.

We shared the shrimp and the salmon dinners. Service was excellent. The view was spectacular as we were there at sunset. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We recently celebrated a romantic birthday dinner at White Oaks Bistro, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a relaxing and intimate evening. The quaint setting made it feel like we were in a cozy little gem, perfect for a dinner for two.
The staff truly went above and beyond to take care of us, offering warm and attentive service without ever feeling intrusive. They made the evening feel special in every way.
Now, the food—wow. It was simply incredible. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. Each dish surpassed our already high expectations, and every bite was a delight. The cocktails were fantastic, but the food truly stole the show.
If you're looking for a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a memorable meal, I can't recommend White Oaks Bistro enough. We left feeling truly pampered and already planning our next visit.

Great bistro in Dahlonega with a phenomenal view. Food is made fresh to order with a focus on flavor. It’s a smaller restaurant so definitely call a head for a table and the owner, Robert, will graciously handle your request. Made for a fantastic 5 year anniversary dinner. (The back drop of the mountains also makes for some great pics!)

We had a lovely dinner at White Oaks Bistro! The food was excellent, the owner was very friendly and the ambiance was intimate. I loved that it wasn't noisy and the million dollar view alone was worth going. It is a smaller restaurant so I recommend making reservations. We will definitely be coming back!
Salmon, Filet, White Oak salads and pistachio flat bread were excellent.

The food is just astoundingly good. My wife had the burger (which she loved) and I had the Asian salad with seared salmon. The salmon was extremely tender with fantastic seasoning, and the salad was genuinely stunning. So much flavor in the greens and tomatoes and the miso soy vinaigrette is very subtle and complements everything. Everything went so well together.
Beyond that, the folks there were all very kind and welcoming, and were very willing to accommodate our dietary restriction (dairy) and be sure we had a good time.
The view is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is relaxing and was a wonderful place to go for our romantic night out. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Without a doubt one of our favorite restaurants we've ever been to. Thank you to those running it.

We had an amazing time at White Oaks Bistro! The overall atmosphere, setting and view are beautiful! They have multiple seating options and a back deck with mountain overlook scenes. The food was very delicious! We had the White Oaks Burger and the White Oaks Salad with grilled chicken. Both were very good, but the Farmer and Forger Flatbread we had as an appetizer was easily the best food option we tried! The mushroom and arugula pairing was AMAZING! We tried the gin and the tequila cocktails and enjoyed both. Lastly, they gave us their warm cookie and homemade ice cream as a gift for my wife's birthday! The staff was very attentive and friendly.
My only suggestion would be to add a few dinner plate entrees instead of just sandwiches and salads. It is probably a better lunch over dinner option with the every day menu.
This is an amazing option for locals and tourists alike! Give them a try - you won't regret it!

White Oaks Bistro is open again on most weekends noon to 7pm. Take advantage of this wonderful place to dine. The menu is limited but so delicious! The service is impeccable and view is magnificent. We will be headed back there next weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you, Robert, for opening your Bistro doors!
